Re: ALLOW_DUPLICATE_POSTS Feature

there are multiple UI issues with articles having the same internal database ID which make the whole thing kinda confusing so I removed it Could you elaborate on the issues, so I can look into them? Are you referring to star / read counts? e.g. If you star a duplicate item the count is not accurate...

ALLOW_DUPLICATE_POSTS Feature

Hi, I've only just realized that this feature no longer exists in TT-RSS. Reviewing the GitLab code it seems it was recently fixed...then removed...but is there a reason for this? Some time last year this feature broke, and I remember I submitted a pull request on Github to fix it. At the time, I re...

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Ah cool, can wrap in that function instead. And yes, obviously I'm talking about the functions in fever_api.php I forgot to mention that. Anyway, hope this helps, DigitalDJ. Thanks for that. Have you tried using the function on the lines you specified. Does it fix all the problems? If so, I'll upda...

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Adding CACert as a trusted CA should work. Alternatively, you could create your own CA, sign your certificates and add that. Alternatively, StartCom's free SSL certificates have compatibility with the majority of browsers and mobile devices (including iOS6)

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Reeder rejects self signed invalid SSL certificates I.e anything that poses a security risk. There is no option to skip this check. You can use a free valid SSL certificate from Startcom.

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Thanks for the fantastic plugin Just a random question - why clone the Fever api rather than the Feedbin one? Reeder (on iphone) supports both and presumably the osx and ipad versions will too. The reason I ask is that the Feedbin api seems more developed - ie can add/delete subscriptions. Keep up ...

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Is there no way around that? Still, thanks for the plugin, it's been incredibly useful. There is no way around it, it's a Fever API limitation. It uses time to determine the latest synced feed opposed to the highest article ID. If you use your patch you might get the accurate post times but marking...

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Have to use date_entered here. It's used by Reeder to determine the latest synced feed. The updated field changes frequently if the article is updated. This helps fix race conditions. For example, if sync Reeder THEN your cron runs to update your feeds....THEN you hit "Mark all Read" in Re...

I haven't got a PostgreSQL setup to test with. I'm mostly certain that at least one of the SQL queries aren't compatible with PostgreSQL.

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

You can use your admin account. It makes no difference, as long as you simply enter your username as "admin" into Reeder.

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

I've enabled external API access and I have used YATTRSSC successfully. I don't know if reeder has changed its settings, but it no longer asks for a username, but an email. When I enter the email associated with my ttrss login and the password I set for the fever plugin, I get an incorrect password...

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

After using this during the day I have a couple of comments/questions. This works fine for unread feeds, but it doesn't look like the all items view works. It can display the list of feeds, but if you go into any of them it's just blank with no articles. Also it appears that reeder downloads its ow...

Hah, having only adapted to TT-RSS within the last week...I wasn't aware. I just switched from GReader. Sorry, this plugin will work with 1.7.9 though :)

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Okay, cool. I believe the "PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for db_query()" errors are related to not having trunk.
