Re: Published Sort Order Changed

I don't know if the change to "updated" helped, but since I did that and changed the sort order in the front end from »default« to »date« everything is fine.

Re: Published Sort Order Changed

Thanks for your help, fox. I think we maybe mean the same only I might have said it badly. What I meant was that he first article in »published« used to be the one I published last. Now, in classes/handler/public.php there are three sections that contain $date_sort_field. I now changed it to if (get...

Published Sort Order Changed

Since I upgraded to 1.7.1 my published feeds are sorted I think by »last read«, they used to be sorted by the date they were published. In http://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1269&p=5509 I found a hint to the problem and tried changing $date_sort_field in classes/handler/public.php but did n...

If you consider tits sexist, I'd suggest you reevaluate your outlook on life.

I do not consider tits sexist but the way they were utilised. Context does matter occasionally.

Re: Subcategory support

I find it quite educating. It took me a while to defuse the sexism alarms around here, thus I am glad some light is shed on how it came to the pron-injection into the rss-reader of my choice.

Re: Disabling popup hints

but otherwise people would never notice they can drag shit around.

You could add a line at the top of the feeds preferences that reads »Note: you can drag shit around«. It's not as fancy, but the little note got in my way, too, so I'm glad fluffy asked.

Re: Manual update doesn't work when feed has disabled update

It sure would be confusing. Maybe another option »only include in manual updates« would be interesting?

Re: error in german translation?

It depends. If it is a single feed in question: »Ausgewählten Feed abonnieren«

If it is more than one: »Ausgewählte Feeds abonnieren«

If it could be either: »Ausgewählte(n) Feed(s) abonnieren«

Re: Migrating from GoogleReader, feeds get desorganized

Have you tried a different browser? I had similar problems in Firefox (although no error) and had an error in Chromium but no problems. Weird, but maybe try it if you haven't yet.

Thanks!
I had found that page, but somehow didn't really grasp it from there where your short summary here cleared it up really nicely. So maybe add a link to the preference-page and the summary to the wiki for the slower users like me ;)?

Possible to directly subscribe to feed of shared item?

When a friend shares an item and I find it so interesting that I want to subscribe to the whole feed myself, is there an easy way? I had a look around but so far only came up with the regular

copy url --> actions --> subscribe

Re: What is/does Linked Instance?

Hey, thanks for your quick reply!

It would be great if »You'll see feeds from linked instance in the subscribe to feed -> more feeds dialog.« could be added to the »Linked«-Tab to make it easier to understand.

Great work, I already don't miss Google Reader any more!
