Re: 'object is not a function' (after Chrome update?)

Something in my shit browser broke => gotta report it on a forum which has nothing to do with it. Gotta love this logic every time. e: try the incognito mode. Mentioning it here helps in case it isn't the browser and my logic is wrong. Certainly none of my other web sites are broken in any new way....

'object is not a function' (after Chrome update?)

Reported here . I've searched for this problem with google, and found nothing, so either my search skills are weak, or no-one has reported it. Logging in works fine. Preferences works fine. Showing the article list, is where the problem is. On the completion of the loading of the main view, the exc...

Re: 1.7.8 to 1.7.9 : stuck on db-updater

I also got this ttrss_error_log update 118 problem. gbcox's steps were what I eventually followed once I filled in the gaps: Try this: 1. Drop the 1.7.8 database 2. Create the database 3. Install the 1.7.8 schema 4. Restore the data 5. Do the upgrade ⋅ The database backup contained more th...

set cache images when subscribing to a feed

I have cache images turned on for all my feeds. But when I first subscribe to a new feed, as it gets subscribed, it does an update as part of the subscription process. This update will not have the images cached, as the image caching setting can only be set (as far as I can tell) when a feed is edit...

Re: [1.7.8] Unread, sorted oldest first

You're right, it appears to happen for both. I never noticed it working this way with 1.7.4, which was the last version I used. It's probably sorting based on fetch date, rather than post date. If that's the case, I guess this is a feature request for option to sort it by either.

[1.7.8] Unread, sorted oldest first

I've scanned the issues, and this forum section, and failed to find anything reporting this. I've reinstalled tt-rss with the 1.7.8 release, and when viewing the items sorted by "oldest first", it appears to group items by feed. This problem does not happen if sorting by "newest first...

Much appreciated, thanks Fox. Hope these Google Reader comparisons aren't getting too annoying

Inaccessible link in feed

Hi, I subscribe to a podcast feed, which basically includes a link to an MP3. When I view this feed in tt-rss, the Javascript UI overrides one or both of these links, leaving no links other than ones that play in the browser. The attachment menu is a great idea, but it is only possible to click the ...

Re: Google Reader keyboard shortcut emulation plugin

Thanks for this, I've made some additional changes and use it locally. I like standard browser key behaviours work the same on all web pages, like having cursor up and down and space bar do normal browser things. Which they do in Google Reader. .. cleared at start of function foreach ($hotkeys as $k...

Re: Google Reader theme

Sorry, missed some fixes for the theme. Here is the revised CSS: Thanks for that. I've made some additional changes, to get the more subtle selected article white background with blue left hand side that Reader has. Also I override the default background color for odd or even entries (one or the ot...

These links should just work without authentication, without extra work on your part.

Re: How to load more older items in a feed?

You can do this yourself, Google make it publically available via their feed API . It should be possible to have a setting where the update process populates the backlog of historical blog items over time, using this API. But Google's API terms and conditions are that if a tool allows a user to fetc...

Re: "Automatically mark articles as read"

>Would a pull request be accepted for this, Think about it. You are making clicking on a post, which is what pretty much every user of tt-rss does all the time, do something else entirely. No problem, I will keep that as a local patch. However, with this option unset, I still saw articles marked as...
