Re: Question about updating feeds

Have you considered removing the

Code: Select all

--quiet
part, running it from the command line, and seeing what is output?

Re: mysql 5.7.9 php7 rc7 can't install

he updated or something to mysql 5.7-rc which now has ~strict mode~ enabled by default which forbids inserting an integer into datetime column which is a change i have no problem with per se, well overdue imo Nope. The NO_ZERO_DATE mode affects whether the server permits '0000-00-00' as a valid dat...

Re: mysql 5.7.9 php7 rc7 can't install

problem is mysql 5.7

Exactly. But you keep repeating that, yet fail to do anything about it.

Either use an earlier version, or make the requisite config changes to disable MySQL's breaking behaviour. (Hint: NO_ZERO_DATE.)

if
last_updated datetime default null
maybe ok??

Or not.

Re: mysql 5.7.9 php7 rc7 can't install

You've found out what your problem is, why are you still posting?

The supported range is '1000-01-01 00:00:00' to '9999-12-31 23:59:59'.

Not always.

Your brand new and shiny version of MySQL has introduced some backward-compatibility issues.

Probably because you don't have a (complete) database for it to work with. How could you expect it to work flawlessly?

Re: I am writing a plugin, but I dont know which event to us

can you guys give some tips on how to handle unicode in plugins? I know php doesn't natively support utf8, and I am not that experienced in php programming I never asked for a tutorial, just a fucking simple question with some side info on my behalf. You explicitly asked for a tutorial. Along with ...

Another datum point:

Code: Select all

/etc/php.ini:memory_limit = 128M

183 feeds. No problems here.

Re: How To Use Trunk Version?

What I'm not sure about is if that revert command is the correct way of going back to the previous version in case of problems. You do run the risk of one of the git updates involving an update to the database, and a git-revert won't rollback your database, and your reverted code won't (I'm fairly ...

Re: [git head f9df3e69] Missing scroll bar, problems with ti

I believe increasing the initial number of articles form 30 as I suggested above would be sufficient, and probably quickest, solution; the act of moving to the last visible subject using 'n' forces the scroll bar to move, resulting in the loading of more articles.

Re: [git head f9df3e69] Missing scroll bar, problems with ti

Not very good at getting my point across - this is a problem if you (only) use keyboard navigation, which is what I've done since the beginning. The only way of moving that scrollbar is by using the mouse.

A bit more than cosmetic IMHO - it's a functional issue as well.

Can't you see from that screenshot? :)

(In answer to your question though, the one that screenshot was taken on is 860px high, and my second monitor is 1,920px high.)

Re: [git head f9df3e69] Missing scroll bar, problems with ti

Can you increase (or make configurable) that 30 in order that it fills the space with articles? I've found that if I shorten the window such that the 30th is just off-screen, the act of opening that article (using 'n') has the effect of moving the list up, hence prompting the the load of the next lo...
