Re: Android app update breaks DashClock integration

I know better than to think anyone would care about my workflow. And I don't use tt-rss for work. I'm just easily distracted. I asked because I was on here anyway. Not sure why I use this in dashclock, but I've found it oddly satisfying to disappear when all of the articles are read. I wouldn't be u...

Android app update breaks DashClock integration

Hey Fox - maybe I'm the only one using DashClock and TT-RSS, but it's broken as of one of the builds late last week (I think not the most recent build but the one before that). It still displays unread count, but clicking on it does nothing. I'm not sure how to tell which build broke it. Also, is th...

Re: Android client: if only I could unread the sdk

fox, if you really think that the "mark as unread" is stupid and you won't put it back, then recomment people who need it to use a different client app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noinnion.android.newsplus I know this is a direct competitor to your app, but it has t...

Re: Android client: if only I could unread the sdk

I tried that, but I still get the feed when I open the app (or the browser). It just comes up empty.

Re: Android client: if only I could unread the sdk

Fox - is there a way to have the android app not go straight to "fresh articles" when it opens? I know you were going for consistency, but I don't find the fresh articles interface to work well on the phone. I guess it doesn't really matter why it doesn't work for me, so I won't get into i...

Re: Official Android client

There's so many hamburgers in your post it's making me hungry irl. I despise that term, fwiw. The difference there is that phone ui doesn't have the drawer thing when reading because i think it's kind of too much for the average phone screen to handle. So there's the <- instead of the hamburger and...

Re: Official Android client

Fox - for tablet layout and viewing an article, is the hamburger menu supposed to close the article? on the phone layout, the hamburger is an arrow that closes the article so you can get back to categories, but on the tablet you get the three lines that just toggle article titles - with no way out e...

Re: mark above as read - web <> android

Strange, I recall fixing this before on android. e: https://github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Tiny-RSS-for-Honeycomb/commit/e840ebbc96d080b0d0ef278ba74461dbd3b0a5c2 When you made that change, instead of having it "mark above read" on the android client, it marks above read as well as what you click...

Re: Official Android client

heh. fwiw I only got one because I dumped US Cellular, and the N5 is cheap. I wasn't ruling out the possibility that I was being a dumbass (vs google breaking anything).

Could this problem be due to kit kat switching to chromium for webview? link

(also, thank you thank you thank you for tt-rss!!)

Re: Official Android client

Fox - just got a Nexus 5, and the android app is not sizing images to fit. Unless I am doing something wrong. It makes for difficult scrolling. The weird thing is if you view the image/post a second time, it will size to fit.

I tried changing the compatibility view debug setting with no luck.

Re: Official Android client

>3. Unable to save or share pictures from articles. Yes you can, longtap on the picture. Due to a bug in android webview, it doesn't work all the time though on 4.1 and newer. Fwiw a workaround is to zoom in on the pic with the two finger expand gesture. Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk 4
