Re: bug with reddit feeds (but not a ttrss specific problem)

He replied to your post saying that he's going to look into the nbsp stupidity. In the meantime I'm pretending it's a decade ago when I used to manually reload browser tabs to keep up with things :D

Re: bug with reddit feeds (but not a ttrss specific problem)

I've started getting the following error: LibXML error 26 at line 2 (column 7): Entity 'nbsp' not defined When trying to update the following feed: https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/new/.rss I've updated to latest Git trunk (commit 71b75bb7faabf9e662d76a292c8260634160afee, which is 3 commits past t...

pvponline.com support in af_comics?

Is there any chance that support for pvponline.com could be added to af_comics? I think it's the only webcomic I read that doesn't currently work in tt-rss.

Re: Git repositories move to https://tt-rss.org

there's an activity rss feed which should pretty much amount to the same thing imo e: https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss.atom Apparently you can just stick ".atom" at the end of a gitlab URL to get a feed. Here's one that just has commits to master: https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss/...

Re: Periodic releases are over

I'm surprised to see all the resistance to Git, especially since it can make tarballs for those who are addicted to that method. It's not like the previous release system was based around some super formal development process. I'm pretty sure fox just put out new releases more or less on a schedule,...

Re: Periodic releases are over

fox, fox, fox...why do you ask questions like this? Because some of use like to do things the hard way. I will tell you the truth, but the answer will probably not be desirable. My setup is on a shared hosting provider, so I was talking to "that group" of users. Yes, I'm one of those user...

Re: Periodic releases are over

FYI, there is an RSS feed for the Github repo that lets you monitor commits. Github also lets you easily browse through the changes at whatever level of detail you like. Also, there's only been around 1 commit per day on average over the past few weeks, so it's not even a huge time sink to look them...

Re: Periodic releases are over

Louie: config.php is actually in .gitignore - along with a bunch of other stuff - so git won't even look at it.

Re: Periodic releases are over

This is a good change. Now I can use tt-rss itself to monitor the Git repo and pull new versions whenever an interesting change has been committed. Transition was smooth: ⋅ Backed everything up. ⋅ Cloned git repo into a new directory on my web server. ⋅ Copied over conf...

Re: I think I'm losing my mind

I just got bit by this as well. Good thing I saw this thread first. I examined the atom and rss feed and didn't see any of the erroneous entries, so they must have been transient? We should probably all complain at https://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/mailform/contactus.aspx?refurl=http://technet.microsof...

Re: "Mark as read" behavior

If the problem is that different users will have different expectations, then it seems like something that could be handled by a setting in the preferences menu. There are already multiple settings in there that are related to marking things as read, so there's even a precedent for it.

"Mark as read" behavior

I've noticed that, at least in 1.10, the "mark as read" button at the top of the article list pane marks *all* articles as read for the feed being shown, even if some new items have come in since the user chose to display that feed. This is not likely to be desirable behavior in most situa...
