Re: btrfs raid56 hard disk broken

I was going to rant about how can there be is no emoji for *facepalm* but it is was recently added to unicode http://emojipedia.org/face-palm/ Besides what is outlined in the FAQ, would you consider good practice to use a dedicated (maybe solid state) drive just for postgresql or /var? I'd also like...

Re: btrfs raid56 hard disk broken

Oh! I'd never blame tt-rss, nor BTRFS, neither pgsql btw... Well, maybe postgre, just kidding.

btrfs raid56 hard disk broken

Hi. I was a happy TT-RSS user running pgsql in /var in its own partition. Then I tried to move the whole root filesystem to a BTRFS raid5 array, paying attention to the right mount options like nocow and following the docs at pgsql homepage regarding heavy i/O.. Nevertheless this setup only lasted a...

Re: New Sphinx Search

Hi. I get the same error. There are no other php-sphinx libraries that I am aware of and I am not sure how to check further. cane, pcause, fox, Any ideas? Could it be that this SphinxClient class is being loaded twice? I tried commenting out the validation check with bad results: ie. nothing is show...

Re: Bandwidth throttling

Sorry for the typos, I was using a tiny tiny font size and typing hastly. I tried other options but I keep returning to ttrss. Of course I forgot to mention I also run a mail server so my PC is turned on 24/7. I also use the android app. Ttrss also provides me with an excellent replacement for my pl...

Bandwidth throttling

Hello Tiny Tiny friends! I'd like to know if it's advisable to run the update daemon (v2) thorugh tricked or similar. I ask because I don't have a dedicated server. I use my PC. Further edit: ¿Does it make any sense? ¿Maybe bandwidht is already taken care of in the update process? Currently I have 3...

What shall I do then? Do you know another way of achieving the same or similar?

filters kind of failing, perhaps because of order?

Among my categories there is "news" which groups news feeds like cnn and such. Then, there are the rest of the categories like "music", "books", "films", "science", "lectures", "podcasts" and such. Most of the time I'd like to be ...

Re: API discussion

I think tags are included in getHeadlines so you can see them, but not edit. I'm not sure it's worth the trouble, generally the UI side of tt-rss is oriented on label manipulation, those have nice colors and stuffs. I was sort of deemphasizing tags ever since proper labels got implemented. ¿Which i...

Re: A step-by-step guide of installing tt-rss on CentOS 5.7

No mention of selinux? I had to relabel tt-rss: chcon -Rv -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t ttrss <my-tt-rss-directory> It's probably overkill since you should relabel only the directories to be written to like cache and so but I am lazy. And if you want changes to be permanenet (ie. not to have them relabe...
