Re: Separating Front-End from Back-End

Ugh.

Install Tiny Tiny RSS to a dedicated web host. Let them handle all the back end PHP and Database stuff. Then use your web browser and internet connection to connect, being the front end.

Re: [Theme][GitHub] Paper - mild and pleasant

Look at the bottom of your "Preferences" page, you'll probably see "Tiny Tiny RSS v16.8 © 2005-2016 Andrew Dolgov"

Update your style to at least that "16.8" version. Unless you really are running v16.1.

Re: Default to "All Articles" tab

Create a bookmark in your browser with the TTRSS section you want to open first. Then click that bookmark every time you want to visit your TTRSS install.

Re: Enable API Fails

A lot of password managers, LastPass included, populate hidden form fields; this breaks the form when submitting it. The automatic form filling and login features of most popular password managers are normally OFF by default. But if you've customized your settings and turned them ON, you can easily...

Re: Starred article feed not showing articles

1. Go to the "Actions" drop-down menu.
2. Toggle "(Un)hide read feeds"
Your "Starred articles" and other special groupings will now be displayed.

Running latest 2015-07-06 trunk/master bits. But that most probably doesnt matter.

Open your audio player's settings and search for the word, ""

What you're asking for has nothing to do with TTRSS.

Re: Android client: open in browser

I have no idea what this means. Display what? For example: Long Press on FEED NAME Window pops up with: * Browse headlines * Mark read * Place shortcut * Unsubscribe Add a 5th item to that list, "Feed preference" ("Display on loading" or "Content display mode" is anoth...

Wooosh! 1381582953267.jpg EDIT: But adding to the Android app, "Display on loading" per feed; such as "Feed View" or "Web View" or "Always Open In Browser" would be nice. Especially for those sites that like to only include the first paragraph of content in th...

Re: add feed source name before the title

What a nice reply, excellent! I'm using a third party software to display news. So no way to make use of your great and kind advice. Why are you contacting the TTRSS dev about the way a "third party software" displays RSS feeds to you? You may have better luck solving your display problem...
