Re: GoGomics removed RSS feeds for their comics !!

Several of us here are using that plugin without issue. What you're describing sounds like either a user-configuration error or a bug. Could you be more specific? Several times a day, I will get the same comic set as "new" in tt-rss even though there aren't any updates to it. IE, I have s...

Re: GoGomics removed RSS feeds for their comics !!

The built-in one keeps updating the feeds even though there's no new content. I was just looking to see if there was something better out there, and can't figure out why this doesn't work when everything looks right.

Re: GoGomics removed RSS feeds for their comics !!

I can't get the RSS-Bridge feed to work. I put it through https://fakecake.org/myfeedsucks/ and http://www.feedvalidator.org/ (for the Atom version) and both check it OK. But I never see any activity in it. Here's what I'm getting back from a web browser: $ curl 'https://www.rogerdcook.com/rss-bridg...

Re: Feed parsing error since update

I had this same sort of trouble with . Only thing I could do was to ask the site owner to move the RSS feeds outside of cloudflare.

Re: Make GoComics work again plugin

Works great! One side note. Some of my GoComics feeds were using http://feedproxy.google.com/uclick/<mumble> instead of http://feeds.feedburner.com/uclick/<mumble>, so I had to edit them via the UI, and then the magic happened.

Thanks!

Re: Cloudflare DDoS protection

Caching I can live with. It's when they require whatever's getting the feed to run some JavaScript and then post a result to "prove you're not a robot" that breaks retrieval that I want to break out a LART.

Re: Cloudflare DDoS protection

Feedburner didn't work, but it appears that my letter to the publisher did! I don't know if they're hooking off the User-Agent or just removing the DDOS from feeds period, but it works.

Thanks for your time, fox. Great product, &c.

Cloudflare DDoS protection

Hey, all. I'm trying to work with http://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/feed/ . They had a post explode on them, and so started using Cloudflare's DDoS protection to attempt to throttle what they were responding to. I've emailed them to ask them to turn off the DDoS protection for feeds, but...

Re: HTTPS not working with Android client

I had to import my certificate to be able to log in via https.

Put your certificate's PEM file on your phone somehow.

On my LG G3, go to Settings -> Security -> Install from Storage, select the file, and go.

Re: Couldn't download the specified URL: 0

Have you tried downloading the feed with curl using the command line?

It could be that the site has blocked curl poorly. Try viewing the exchange with tcpdump or ssldump to see if that's the case. Try grabbing it with wget. Use debug switches for curl and wget.

Re: Feeds are updated in the future not now

Let's see, at 93,000,000 miles radius, 2 * pi * r * (2014-1970) = somewhere in the neighborhood of 25.7 billion miles.

Can I have a couple of your free trip vouchers so I can take a proper vacation with my wife?

Re: Sort by "oldest first" doesn't always "work"

One thing I've seen in my sorting adventures is that the date that is sorted on seems to be the date when the article was put into the TT-RSS database, not the publication date.

Layout problem with 1.12 in Firefox 28.0?

Hey, all. Just upgraded to 1.12 (using the admin account internal upgrade button), and am using Firefox 28.0. The top of the article list window changed from one line to two. Now, the view, sort order, mark as read, and actions dropdowns are on the second line. When I first load it, however, the art...
