[git] closed folders randomly open

I have trouble figuring out what is actually happening, but it seems that if I click on a feed, any closed folders, that are on the same level (or deeper) as the feed and are higher will open. Probably best to show you some screenshots. Example 1: before clicking: http://i.imgur.com/rj1sQwk.png afte...

Re: [SOLVED] Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed da

It isn't about ego's. Oh but it is. yes, yours go back and read how you ignored everything fox said, and be ashamed at your childishness and name calling. This is kind of pathetic, but OK, let's go through the thread: ⋅  I'm inventing terminology ⋅  the feeds are sorted by publi...

Re: [SOLVED] Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed da

It isn't about ego's. Oh but it is. Read the thread. I have uncovered that the almighty developer isn't all knowing. So understandably what followed was inevitable. If you would like to take the time to listen, learn, accept then welcome aboard. If not Fork-it or move on. I actually work as an open...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

>This isn't some low level stuff. This is pretty fundamental semantic that you actually use in tt-rss (for sorting). Why do I have to repeat myself? Simplepie gives me a date. I do basic sanity checking on it. Whatever that date is in feed terms I don't particularly care about. Well, yeah, so the f...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

In case this wasn't obvious, there's no such thing *within tt-rss*. Feed-level stuff should be handled by simplepie, if I wanted to care about specific feed attributes I would write my own feed parser. This isn't some low level stuff. This is pretty fundamental semantic that you actually use in tt-...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

>Also your initial posts were clearly wrong. The update tags are indeed parsed and the sort doesn't follow publish date, but the last modification/update date. Fascinating. Let's go back one page and read what I actually said: tt-rss does not use that atom-specific attribute, unless Simplepie consi...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

>But how would this situation happen? The order doesn't make any sense. Basically: the feed sucks. Contact the author to fix their shit. No it doesn't. Update time is actually very important for some feeds. Although it doesn't make any sense in case of youtube, because it just screws with the order...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

OK, so that we are talking about the same version I just did an update. When I select "Oldest First" I end up with the same situation. All these feeds have the same import timestamp (this is what shows up in the tooltip when I hover over the date). But where does the time shown in the scre...

Re: Publish vs. update date when sorting by feed date

Also, in 1.7.6 the sorting is changed so that pubdate would only mean anything within the update batch, so this discussion is meaningless at this point, because the functionality you are fighting against no longer exists (including the aforementioned option). ⋅ I'm using the github versio...
