Plugin dev question

Hi, I'm experimenting with my first plugin for TTRSS but am encountering problems. What I'd like to do is to be able to add an icon to the list of headlines in combined view which I can click to open the article in a new tab/window in a single click (rather than right-clicking and selecting "op...

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

Firstly, thanks very much for your work on ttrss-mobile, as someone who regularly splits his reading between multiple desktop and mobile devices it's great to find something that means I don't need anything more than a web browser, no matter what device I'm on. I've been using this for a few days no...

Re: Login problems

Were you trying to register on the main website (the link at the top of the project webpage)? If so, then that's not right. TT-RSS is a server-side application that you install on your own server - there is no public online version. The link to the tarball is at the bottom of the main page, and ther...

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

Thanks mboinet, pulling a new master.zip from github works fine.

jonb - did you remember to copy back your conf.js? It was hanging for me until I remembered to do that.

Re: Updater can't extract tarball

I've checked and the apache user does have access to /var/www (it's owned by root, but the apache user's group is the group of the directory and the group has write permissions).

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

Hmmm... I copied the my mobile subdirectory from the backup back into the same subdirectory it was it before (reader.mydomain.com/mobile). When I go straight to that URL I get the login screen. When I try to log in, it gets hung up at "Authenticating..." I'm seeing the same thing. I've pu...

Updater can't extract tarball

Hi, I installed 1.7.5 a few days ago and I see that 1.7.8 is out now. I tried to use the updater to update to the newest version and got the following in the window: Ready to update. Work directory: /var/www/ttrss Checking for tar... Checking for gunzip... Checking for latest version... Target versi...

Re: SQLite support

I just set up TT-RSS on an RPi today and I was finding MySQL to be awfully slow as well. I nuked my installation and configured MySQL to use the MyISAM engine rather than InnoDB. This has sped up performance no end, although at some costs.
