Re: Little problem with lockfiles (on Windows)

No, that looks insane... If you want to see the console (I don't) just run update.php --daemon

Re: Little problem with lockfiles (on Windows)

I've just increased the time in that function from 2 to 30 days (my average time between machine restarts, I guess)... I hope it wouldn't give me any side effects...

Little problem with lockfiles (on Windows)

I haven't found any such reports on the forum... I know, I should get dedicated machine with Linux on it, but I have what I have, okay? Update_daemon.php is running constantly as a windows service here with no problem, except after 2 days (86400*2) I'm starting to get warning messages in php_errors....

Re: Questions to cached files

There are several examples in my last post to guarantee that there isn't to much needed space for caching for your example with guys melted their raspberry pie. Adding all option will add complexity - I understand you, but is it possible to change the 7 days to more? I found no option and so it see...

Re: SVG star and share icons

That is quite unexpected actually, but cool. :) Okay, some testing and update to 1.7.8 showed that the problem was not with DOM, but with SVG... I've got SVG icons back after the update, and feed scrolling was slow again... I changed them to PNG in feeds.php, and everything is fast again... Probabl...

Re: Sort by Title removed

Yes, exactly, I'm only a user, not a programmer (maybe a little bit), and I can't figure out how to modify and/or backport features in almost 1 megabyte of code someone else wrote, using languages and toolkits I have no idea about... Yes, installing ttrss requires higher level of skills than "s...

Re: Sort by Title removed

Yeah, that's exactly the behavior that made Google-services users disappointed in Google developers – removing services and options they "didn't think anyone used"...

Re: SVG star and share icons

Made those changes... Now I've been able to scroll through 200 unread items with images very quickly without the usual performance drop...
Need to observe it a little longer to exclude simple luck (ein versuch - kein versuch), but it doesn't seem to have any negative effect at least...

Re: Login problems

First question to ask: What version of TTRSS are you using right now...
Because I had this problem with 1.7.4, before it has been fixed in 1.7.5:

Re: Option to Sort Oldest First Doesn't Seem to Work.

Another confusing behavior noticed. "f x" shortcut seems to switch between "Default" and "Oldest First" orders, but "Default" isn't equal to "Newest First", right?.. Here's what I find confusing: Switch order to "Newest First", press "...

Re: SVG star and share icons

I hate stupid bugs... It appears that Opera 12 does not update an image after you change src attribute of an img element via JS if the src attribute contains an svg image... i.e. clicking star does add the feed article to "starred", but the star does not change its appearance even though s...

Re: Behavior change for Automatically mark articles as read

It doesn't... It's only a little annoying sometimes... I recall the same problem in GReader, but they've fixed it somehow long ago, as well as UI unresponsiveness while new items are loading (plus, Opera 12 has quite slow DOM traversal performance, compared to Chrome)... PS: That's quite weird to co...

Re: Behavior change for Automatically mark articles as read

:D
One strange behavior I notice is that ttrss often marks articles as read BEFORE you scroll to them, probably more often if articles have only many large images in it which take time to load, but for a brief moment several newer articles appear on screen...
