Full Google Reader Backup

This should probably belong in knowledge base but in a few days it will be obsolete. Former Google Reader engineer, Mihai Parparita , has created some python scripts that will enable you to download you entire Google Reader content, including subscriptions, notes, starred items, shared items, liked ...

Re: file does not exist ttrss/false

Me too, I spent a while trying to figure out where it was coming from to no avail. It doesn't affect anything, so whatevs. File does not exist: /var/www/ttrss/"images, referer: https://feedsp.in/index.php Edit: Forgot to say, it only occurs when you load preferences and once more when you exit.

Biggest motivator to google/search/research to fix your own shit, is not having to reveal your feed sources.

Re: Error in TUAW feed

The offending post is still in the feed.

View the source of the feed http://www.tuaw.com/rss.xml

Copy and then paste to a xml validator i.e http://www.xmlvalidation.com/

Re: Error in TUAW feed

This has been discussed just a few days ago, . The article contains a UNICODE character 0x5 (ENQ) which is not allowed in XML documents.

Contact the feed author to fix.

Re: [Android] Offline mode bug?

Aha, found it! Look at my latest pull request, and tell me if anything could go wrong with what I did, I could have missed something ;) While you're swimming around in the source code frnx, I'm wondering if you have observed this behaviour with offline mode. 'Star' an item offline, go into online m...

Re: Twitter RSS Feeds

Do you links look like twitter.com/USERNAME/statuses/ 3.452746090311E+17 ? If that's the case, try the new version (v.5 as of right now). The code in the original post on the first page has been updated. I'd strongly recommend you throw it up on GitHub and move your non configurable code into a lib...

Re: Recent Broken Feed

You can literally see the character on the front end. Visit http://dish.andrewsullivan.com/2013/06/12/dissents-of-the-day-ctd-9/ , half way down find this quoted paragraph. Baseball teams like Billy Beane’s Oakland A’s (immortalized in Michael Lewis’s best-seller “Moneyball”) have embraced new numbe...

Re: Recent Broken Feed

I don't know if it's the cause, but an article titled ' in that feed has an invalid XML character, unicode 0x19, which is 'End of Medium' or 'EM'. That unicode character is not allowed to exist in an XML document.

Re: Twitter RSS Feeds

Hmm, nope. I am using a hosting provider, instead of running locally, so I didn't have any of those issues. I just had a quick look around the twitter dev forums, and they won't give out IPs, since they apparently change them constantly. One thing that I did find was that it operates on port 80, wh...
