Re: Heads up: Dojo 1.12 has landed in trunk

The favicons are missing for me in the feed list on the left. I've cleared all my cookies for the domain of my server to no effect. Here's a small screenshot: Capture.PNG The favicons that would be to the left of the text 9to5Google, Ars Technica, etc, are now missing. The icons themselves are still...

Re: How to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL?

I am running 16.1 on FreeBSD 10.2 with MySQL backend. I am getting ready to migrate the system to Raspberry Pi host with Postgre database installed. I assume I will update to the latest TTRSS. I prefer not to loose my feeds and especially starred articles. Is there a database migration process you ...

Re: Updating feeds gets stuck

Every time I've seen this, it's because of vice.com. I set it to stop updating and within a few minutes everything is working. After a week or so, when the offending article is no longer in their feed, I turn it back on. Actually, come to think of it, I may not have turned it on since the last time....

Re: Uploaded icons won't display

I have to say I absolutely do not understand the motivation for "uploading favicons manually" to ensure "the connection" (what connection?) "is 100% secure" (from what?). Anyway, the icons must be in the feed-icons directory, readable by the web server, and named after ...

pg_num_rows()/pg_fetch_result() errors in ttrss_error_log table

I don't know if this is expected or not. I just signed up for Office365 and have been messing around with MS Access. I imported my TT-RSS database to play with and came across this in the ttrss_error_log table: ttrss_error_log.PNG I've not noticed any issues using the application so I don't imagine ...

Re: Having database problems with tt-rss installation

Also note that you must restart the database whenever you make changes to pg_hba.conf to make those changes effective.

Re: Continuous 'Session failed to validate (incorrect IP)'

Hi, The advantage of using tt-rss means, I am not dependent on other services such as feedly or even worse Google Reader, which was discontinued. So, I would rather resolve this. I fully agree, having chosen TT-RSS over the alternatives (including feedly) for exactly this reason. And I must say I'm...

Re: Heads up: native fulltext search on pgsql

I just came to say that I have about 690k articles and absolutely nothing went wrong with the update for me. I did the update like this: * Shut down update_daemon2.php process (sudo service tt-rss stop) * Do a git pull (~/tools/tt-rss/qupdate_ttrss, a script I wrote) * Use psql to apply the schema u...

Performance Regression (article purge)

This commit here https://github.com/gothfox/Tiny-Tiny-RSS/commit/c2916856541ed82b2f11b5f3ff29b1e4f5cd6b3e may have introduced a performance regression. The query in question: DELETE FROM ttrss_entries WHERE id NOT IN (SELECT ref_id FROM ttrss_user_entries WHERE ref_id IS NOT NULL); I believe is doin...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

Disabling the Vice feed made the issue go away. I'm going to work out a post for a new thread. While I accept the "feed is broken" -- having the updater fail on it and stop working for all feeds sounds like something possibly worth thinking of a work around for.

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

I've never enabled the plug-in and after further investigation, I think the culprit is the Vice feed, and it's a coincidence. I've got the article entries saved where there's a clear line between "what last successfully loaded" and "all the stuff that hasn't loaded since." I'll p...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

I don't know what's going on and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this, but since yesterday's bayes stuff went in, my updater (current with trunk) has gone nuts. When it starts up, it collects new articles fine, but then lingers around and stops updating. Here's what ps looks like: [0] cbell@circe:/...

Re: Problem with migrating database

But when I edit config.php to point to the new database server it gives me the following when I browse to the web page You didn't provide your edits. Without those, there's no information as a starting point to troubleshoot from without "shooting in the dark." Post those and then we can l...
