Re: A pray for the return of the read/unread button (Android

I've got a hideous "Mark Read/Mark Unread" button on every post per a ridiculous hack, auto-mark-read disabled everywhere it was coded, and a hot-key added for "mark above as read". I read everything oldest-first. Most of my feeds are twitter streams. My gerbil's name is Ralph. I...

Re: Automatic Upgrade fails

Updater is worthless on the TI-85 port. Axe it.

Re: What's wrong with this feed?

I just upgraded my tt-rss to v. 2.1.6, and now it is properly switching to cold rinse after a hot wash cycle when that setting is selected in Preferences. Thanks, Fox!

Re: What's wrong with this feed?

The only time I've ever encountered errors like that, it was an encoding problem with the file being served. Considering that the feed is viewable in other software, and that the problem is with the very first character, it's probably a compression/gzip issue. I do see where the feed server is not c...

Re: Hide unread count option

I wrote a plugin that hides every third feed on a rotating basis, every day except Sunday. I'd share it, but it's part of my ongoing project to port ttrss to run on the TI-89 graphing calculator.

Re: how do I disable click on item

idoxlr8, that is awesome! Thank you for sharing that link! I'm (obviously) really new here, and I haven't been able to dig into prior threads too much yet. AMA3, you are my new hero. For posterity: I was actually able to hack in an ugly, but working, button up top with minimal effort. In my usual pa...

Re: how do I disable click on item

Just so you know, as far as I can tell, your desire to not have things marked-as-read when you click them makes you an insufferable buffoon who wouldn't know good UX if it licked you in the pucker. Please, don't shoot the messenger (me). That being said, I wanted the exact same thing. I found the an...

Re: Behavior change for Automatically mark articles as read

I absolutely cannot stand when I'm using the next-post or prev-post hotkey, and tt-rss marks the post that is becoming active as read. I'm just making it active, it has not yet been read. I likewise cannot stand when tt-rss marks the post I am leaving as read. Maybe I skipped past it and want to com...
