Re: light mobile interface

It seems quite nice and quick.
There's already a new release 0.2.0. Here's the link to all releases: https://github.com/kucrut/ttrss-reader/releases

Re: Performance Regression (article purge)

I have been running with a patched version of that query for 5 months with no issues. Mine is very similar to virgo's: $result = db_query("DELETE FROM ttrss_entries WHERE not exists (SELECT 1 FROM ttrss_user_entries WHERE ref_id = id)"); I am on PostgreSQL. I think I saw execution time go ...

Re: feedbrowser (popularfeeds etc..) issue

My question is, is this subselect even necessary? What would happen, if private or password protected feeds were to be excluded in main query? Because they would only appear in result, if someone has those feeds as non-private and/or not password protected. And it would make query much clearer. Tha...

Re: feedbrowser (popularfeeds etc..) issue

I suggest this rewrite, but only for performance and clarity. The original query is already giving correct results here, I don't know why the OP is not getting the list of more feeds. SELECT feed_url, site_url, title, COUNT(id) AS subscribers FROM ttrss_feeds WHERE feed_url NOT IN ( SELECT distinct ...

Re: Let the "Enter" key submit the form in the search pop

I finally got around to installing Sphinx and now searching is so fast, it felt like I spent more time finding and clicking the Search key than waiting for search results. So I did the simplest hack I could think of: [email protected]:/usr/local/www/tt-rss/classes % diff -c3 feeds.php-backup feeds.php ***...

Re: [Plugin][GitHub] FeedStatistics - simple stats on your f

Also, PostGgeSQL does not support backticks around column names, that's a MySQL abomination.

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Personally I'd like to be able to choose with my finger every time, not by a global option. Tapping on the number of unread articles vs tapping on the category name may not be immediately intuitive, but I think of it like this: I tap the number 7 to see all those 7 unread articles. I tap the categor...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

[*]List all articles of a category if the user taps the number of unread messages as opposed to the category name (Feeder does this and it's very convenient some times)[/list] Not sure to understand this one... Thanks for trying :wink: I'll rephrase it: If the user taps the article count (near the ...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Thank you for making this app. It's fast in every respect, starring and walking between articles is easy, articles are rendered well and it supports https with self-signed certificate. Now it has deservedly replaced Reeder and other clients I have used on the iPhone. Having used it for a couple of d...

I wanted to try this out on my aging HTC Flyer (Android 3.2.1) and it won't start.

Re: Improved image resizing

I had the problem with images being stretched vertically when reduced in size by css. Fixed it for my tt-rss user by adding the following in the Customize stylesheet option in Preferences:

Code: Select all

div.postContent img {
        height: auto;
}

Re: Categories? Have or not to have?

Categories can be deleted: In Preferences > Feeds, click the Categories dropdown, select (Un)hide empty categories if needed. Then right-click a category and select Remove category.
Pretty straightforward.
