Re: How many feeds can tt-rss handle?

Running Centos 5 Final, 4gigs ram on virtual server, postgres, update daemon running 4 threads. 2 week purge, database hovers around 600k entries, 30K feeds, + tons of filters. Runs fine (wouldn't say its snappy, but wouldn't say its slow either). This is also without any other tuning and lots of ot...

Re: old update_daemon-*.lock files sitting around

Yeah, sounds about right. I switched to Postgres and all is working fine now. 100x's faster, should have used that like everyone says from the get go. I'm guessing it's related to MySQL, tried tunning the DB and fresh installs as well and nothing seemed to improve it. We do have a lot of feeds, abou...

Re: old update_daemon-*.lock files sitting around

After searching through the forums this is the closest I could find to the issue I am having. I seem to be having lock files that are being left behind, not a problem, I can delete those like you mentioned above. But, I think it is tied to another problem I am having. About every 30-40 minutes when ...

Mark As Read Action in Filters Not Consistent

I am using the filters to "mark as read" items that are not of interest or should be excluded in the workplace. I have a filter setup that includes 5 regex strings of simple word matches. When matched I have the action setup to assign a Label "XYZ" and to mark the matching articl...

Re: Highlight search terms

The issue with the freelancer was he "made it work", not "made it work right"so to say. Poor implementation overall. Looking at the link seems to show a viable method, but I am unsure how this gets implemented correctly . Thanks for looking into this, any other help / point in th...

Re: All articles never empty

This happens to me as well. I believe the number displayed after all your feeds have been read reflect the amount of feeds you have with errors. Mine for example shows 9 and I have 9 feeds with errors. It could be a coincidence though. Try looking at your feeds with errors and see if the numbers mat...

Re: Highlight search terms

I wrote a similar post View Topic . I did not get any responses. Since then my company paid a freelancer to achieve this and the results of the plugin were not consistent. It was implemented poorly using a bad hook and is only compatible with MySQL. The other issue is it times out a lot making it un...

Re: Bug report: Infinate redirects aren't managed

Along the same lines with this error. I get the "Maximum (20) Redirects" on a feed I am trying to subscribe to. If I visit the page in a web browser the RSS displays normally. Is there a way I can still monitor this RSS? I have no idea what settings would need to be changed locally or if t...

Re: Inverse Option Not Exporting/Importing In OPML File

Sorry for the lack of detail on the last post. I was exporting from TTRSS 1.8 and importing into another user account on the same TTRSS 1.8 instance. Essentially just trying to use the same filters on another account with different feeds. Looking at my OPML file it seems that all the filters have &q...

Re: opml import fail

I am having this same issue. I am unable to attach the OPML file directly to the forum so I have created a screen shots. Hopefully this helps. This OPML file was extracted from TTRSS 1.8 Centos 6.4 This is the original OPML opened with texedit, as you can see it is formatted oddly and there are a lo...

Inverse Option Not Exporting/Importing In OPML File

I've noticed when I export the settings using OPML the the "Inverse" filters don't retain that selection. All of the filters, labels, ect import, but not the physical selection of "inverse". Is this something that is not being accounted for in the OPML export/import?

Re: OPML-Import broken

I have been having this same issue.I discovered yesterday a quick fix is to open the TTRSS opml file and remove all of the boxes usually following the > symbol. Depending on how large your OPML file is may depend on how long this will take, there was a lot in mine, but imported flawless afterwards.

Re: Trouble importing Reader OPML file

Is this still an issue? This is happening with my install. I have updated to the git hub version. I am exporting from one TTRSS account and importing into another TTRSS account. Mainly so I can transfer the filters. Here are the error(s) I received. One per each of the 4 attempts. *EDIT* Just wanted...
