Widescreen: display feed in category view

I know it's a minor quibble, but it would be useful to know which feed an article is from when viewing in non-combined widescreen mode. In the non-widescreen non-combined, the feed shows for each article. In the example below, "Cosmic Variance" is the feed name. http://image.bayimg.com/5cd...

Re: For my community website

I will take a stab at it. Use case: I run a community web site. I want to be able to administratively push out feeds to all users of my site. Each user will receive the group of feeds and will be able to read individually. Users will not share login information. User A reading an item does not affec...

Re: Question about the forum: Why are you all assholes?

I'm a total newb on this forum, and while I've asked all of three questions, each time I've received helpful, prompt, and courteous answers. The distinction is that I investigate what's going on, do troubleshooting, and show my work. When asking a question anywhere, though especially in techie forum...

Could not display article (invalid object received - see err

I added an account for my wife through the normal process in preferences. After doing that, I started receiving the following error in my article pane (I don't use combined display): Could not display article (invalid object received - see error console for details) Error detail from firebug is belo...

Re: [trunk] pgsql: ERROR: value too long for type character

Firefox showed nothing to me either, which was why I viewed in chrome and pasted code in my previous post. The code segment in my previous post was the xml output of the feed. I can't really control the feed contents. It's a google alert feed for a search of "http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/di...

I don't think it really matters.. I've got 500+ filters currently going against a category, and it seems to chunk through it just fine.

freelance plugin developer?

I'm looking for a quick and dirty plugin. It's for an RSS feed that has two types of messages, based on simple text match within them. I need to cull out a url from each for display, and for the case of one, present a link or a button that calls a function on my server with a piece of the url in the...

[1.9] Adding db fields - will it break updates?

If I add a field called date_create to ttrss_filters2_rules defaulting to CURRENT_DATE (I'm using PGSQL), will it cause upgrades/updates to lose their marbles, or will it ignore the field? The scenario is I want to use rules, but my rules would have a lifetime of only a few weeks, then I should neve...
