Have you tried the af_unburn plug-in that comes with TT-RSS? I think it might resolve the URLs (feedproxy) and then, since they point to the same place, the duplicate check would work (in theory, I haven't looked at the code, but I think I remember messing around with it a while ago). I haven't had to ask a question yet, but I feel like, if I came into it with a little humility and having done the slightest due diligence beforehand, I'd get some good answers. Follow the forum long enough and you can tell the types of approaches and questions that get poor (funny) responses.

It looks like class "leaf_contents_article" is applied to an <article> tag and not a <div>. Change your xpath to article[@class='leaf_contents_article'] and give it a try.

Take a look at the ShareAnything plugin. You should also read this page on Archived Feeds, to see how it is related to what you're looking for, I think.
