New Bug Retrieving Articles

I think I find a new bug when reading articles in article view on a phone: the first time the tt-rss client needs to retrieve more articles does not succeed unless I revert to headline view, then it succeeds and I can continue reading in article view mode. Further reads do not seem to suffer from th...

Re: Confirmation of "marking all articles above as read"

Did you have a chance to look at this? Looked at the settings in the latest version and while there is a setting related to mark and read it did not seem to affect the behavior above.

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

Downloaded the latest version from the playstore and these bugs now seem to be fixed, worked flawlessly. Thank you.

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

Used tt-rss more yesterday and it several times spontaneously refreshed the headline list on the left removing all read articles when reading several hundred posts. On one occasion the headline list and the articles on the right got completely out sync and the only way to resync is to back out and c...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

I tried the latest release on the playstore, again on tablet in landscape mode: on two occasions did the headline and article list spontaneously decide to refresh itself, i.e., any articles you have read disappear from the list and are lost unless you have starred them. I will use it again and see i...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

I don't have access to the beta so I have not been able to test it. However, running the last version you released I came across a new bug I have only seen once while operating the tablet in landscape mode: the headline selected on the left and the actual article did not match and the lists continue...

Correct, I am referring to the Android app. Thanks.

Confirmation of "marking all articles above as read"

I have on a couple of occasions been rather quick and in article mode mistakenly hit "mark all articles above as read"... This is a rather destructive option since it is very time-consuming to go back and "mark as unread" the articles you may have wanted to save reading for the n...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

No, it is not a purely cosmetic issue. When you are in landscape mode with the headlines on the left and swiping articles on the right you can see that the blank messages in fact correspond to articles in the headline column. Those articles either become marked as read (although you have not been ab...

Re: Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

It seems this bug has been fixed in the latest release, there seems, however, to be another bug: when swiping to the next article and when the client needs to reload the next set of articles I see blank articles. With this new fix I can then continue swiping to the next article but this blank articl...

Difference in behavior between one-column and two-column mode

When swiping to read messages using the Android client on my phones/tablets, I often run into a blank message suggesting that the client is trying to download additional messages. Depending on the speed and quality of the internet connection, this may take one second or up to 30 seconds. If I during...

Loss of menu access with latest upgrades

It seems the last upgrades has resulted in loss of the menu when running tt-rss on Gingerbread. I can no longer access the menu that corresponds to the menu in the upper right hand corner when running it on KitKat. Also, the ability to mark an arcticle as read/unread would be be much better to have ...

Offline Features and Problems

I have been using tt-rss for over a year on two Android phones, one tablet and my desktop, however, always in online mode. I now decided I would test the offline mode which would be terrific to use when I am on a long flight without access to the 'net. As I get between 500 and 700 posts per day and ...

Re: Unable to see starred articles in mobile tt-rss

No need to be aggressive. I do but applications also display the version in the settings menu or "nearby".

Perhaps you can help me with the question I asked?
