Re: Android Client: Text-to-Speech support

You got me ; ) I see only dark future here... The gadgets will be: phablet with some kind of HMD and all wireless headset/smartwatch combination. Actually I'm quite happy with galaxy s4/qualcomm toq/bluetooth bose headset + bluetooth connection in my car. Always on and connected :) I think the main ...

Re: Android Client: Text-to-Speech support

Quite interesting comments here :) It will happen, I don't see any other alternative. Or are you waiting for 8k resolution 6,5" smartphone? And fox is right about hands-free use. Audible is nice for but I need news without commentaries in the podcasts I don't really care about. Ivona "robo...

Think voice/tts and then google glass support.
Just let me know how can I support.

Re: Android Client: Text-to-Speech support

Play button (doubled by the headset button) which starts TTS of whatever is on the screen: Headlines - read all headlines one by one and use some kind of separation tag (some short sound). For full article of the previous headline just press play twice. Skip forward and back could be implemented too...

Win8 (RT) Metro Client

I am quite happy with my Surface 2 tablet and as a heavy tt-rss user use it through the IE and everything works just fine, but a nice native client would be even better! Any plans to develop for Win8?

Android Client: Text-to-Speech support

I would really love to see TTS (text-to-speech) support for the feeds headlines and text. Perfect would be a podcast-like behavior for hands-free usage. gReader has some basic TTS support, but it's only availiable for the article itself and you have to start each article manually... I am actually wa...
