Re: Some animated gif entries are doubled

Ah. <blush> It's the standard gizmodo feed - http://gizmodo.com/index.xml It only seems to happen with some of the entries, not all. For example, the "Now You Can Learn to Code With Minecraft" one at http://gizmodo.com/now-you-can-learn-to-code-with-minecraft-1742796809?utm_source=feedburn...

Re: Some animated gif entries are doubled

Hrm - didn't get much out the feed checker. It seemed to show everything as doubled.

The rules ? What context ?

btw - thanks.

Re: Some animated gif entries are doubled

The "Feed didn't parse" one ? I'm ashamed to say I didn't see it. Checking it out now.

Re: Some animated gif entries are doubled

Yup - disabled all, no difference. Here's another one that does it - not animated, but doesn't have the doubled-url with data-asset-url. To see the whole thing search gizmodo for "coffee choice" <div class="marquee-asset js_marquee-asset"><a href="http://gizmodo.com/how-your...

Re: Some animated gif entries are doubled

I'm sure there isn't. But something weird is going on. Anyone else seeing this ?

btw, I'm using 1.15.3+dsfg-1~webupd8~trusty3 from the webupd8team PPA

Some animated gif entries are doubled

Not sure if this is a bug or what ... I've noticed that some entries with an animated gif seem to have that gif doubled. There are two of them, one below the other, and they're not playing in sync. Sometimes it's not an animated gif, just a regular image that's doubled. For example, here's an animat...

Re: Primary keys on all tables to help replication

hrk - thanks for the pointer, will check it out. As for the keys, I did follow his guidelines, except for feedbrowser_cache. I just wanted to be as unobtrusive as possible, so a simple auto-increment int as a PK seems to do the trick, and avoids the issue with specifying a length for feed_url ... It...

Re: Chrome compatibility issues ?

dxbi - Brilliant. That's exactly the issue - it's being proxied by nginx over https/443.

THANK YOU for the helpful comment.

Now to dig into what to do about it ...

Re: Chrome compatibility issues ?

Ah ha. I was on 35.x, where the top bar didn't work at all, regular or incognito mode. I just updated to 36.0.1985.125 and now the top bar works in incognito mode. Not in regular mode though - one of the damn extensions must be messing with it. Still no go with the slashdot.org comments box, regular...

Re: Chrome compatibility issues ?

Firefox also fails to render the Slashdot.org comment list correctly. Wonder of wonders, IE is the only one doing it right.

Chrome compatibility issues ?

It looks like the top bar seems to have an issue in Chrome under Windows. I've checked it with incognito as well, and it's still messed up. It works fine in Firefox and IE. http://s30.postimg.org/jnw6llnup/TTRSS_bar.png The top one is Firefox, the lower two are Chrome. Hitting the down-arrow in Chro...

Re: Primary keys on all tables to help replication

FYI, this is what I'm doing in my installer, and so far so good. alter table ttrss_cat_counters_cache add pk_key int(10) auto_increment primary key; alter table ttrss_counters_cache add pk_key int(10) auto_increment primary key; alter table ttrss_feedbrowser_cache add pk_key int(10) auto_increment p...
