Re: tt-rss problems after xUbuntu 16.10 to 17.04 upgrade + my solutions

I am just making everything new. git-cloned to a fresh directory in /var/www/html, rewrote the service and apache config. so far everything seems to be working just fine and I see no new errors in my error.log. I should've done this back when you switched to rolling release via git. But it seemed so...

Re: tt-rss problems after xUbuntu 16.10 to 17.04 upgrade + my solutions

hrm. ok. To be honest this once was a pre-packaged tt-rss instance. But I changed it to git and (at least thought) I got everything sorted out. Not sure, but I think I even deleted all the files and git-pulled them to be recent. This was done back when tt-rss switched from release to git. But you we...

tt-rss problems after xUbuntu 16.10 to 17.04 upgrade + my solutions

Hello everyone, After upgrading my xUbuntu release from 16.10 to 17.04 my tt-rss kept throwing errors and didn't function properly anymore. I dug around a little in the error logs and found two different errors flooding my logs. Here I want to describe how I resolved/worked around the errors and got...

Re: Heads up: Dojo 1.12 has landed in trunk

Quick update: I tried if the Android app worked. It worked out fine and I marked all unread articles read. Now the browser works again.

I am using PHP 7.0.13.

Will try to apply your suggested fix later and report back if any further problems occur.

Same here.

When clicking on the categories you just get

Code: Select all

Could not update headlines (invalid object received - see error console for details)

and the error messages Zottelchen mentioned in the log.

Re: Feed categories are always expanded

I just wanted to give a little feedback: Since one of the last git pulls everything is as it should be again. Don't exactly know when the change happened. But everything is as expected again. Problem resolved itself somehow. (BTW without deleting cookies or anything!)

Re: Feed categories are always expanded

I just booted up a VM with a Linux live-CD and loaded tt-rss in the browser (a clean Firefox without any extensions or addons; cleared cache and cookies). Even there all categories are expanded. If i collapse them in the desired way, close the browser window and start the browser again I have to log...

Feed categories are always expanded

Hi there, I have tt-rss (latest git master) running on a Ubuntu 16.04 server. It is fetching feeds as desired and marks the feeds and the posts they contain as read when scrolling past. A little issue I have lately is that tt-rss doesn't "remember" which way I left my feed categories. I wa...

Re: Git repositories move to https://tt-rss.org

Stop. You got me wrong! I don't want to restrict access to the git repository. I just wanted to point out, that a quite simple change to the .htaccess file which can be pulled from the repository could prevent the public exposure of the .gitignore file and the .git directory of the tt-rss installati...

Re: Git repositories move to https://tt-rss.org

Hi everyone, since this thread is about moving the git-repository I wanted to point out a possible security issue with the tt-rss .git directory. This directory is inside the web-accessible folder and it is accessible by anyone. This problem affects lots and lots of much bigger sites but everyone sh...

Re: Git repositories change

Don't forget to tell the guys here that the git repository origin has changed once more:

Code: Select all

git remote rm origin
git remote add origin https://tt-rss.org/gitlab/fox/tt-rss.git

Pulling works via

Code: Select all

git pull origin master
