Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Actually, I'm using a trunk version of about 1 week old. Maybe that's the issue.

However, give this one a shot. Doubt it'll work, but hey.

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Error 500 won't help me debug. Check your web server's error log or PHP logs.

As for the warnings, I'm not sure what's going on here. What version of PHP, MySQL and TT-RSS are you using? Are you using single-user mode for authentication?

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Awesome plugin - thanks for your great work! Reeder was indeed the best Google Reader client for iOS - glad I can put it back on my homescreen now, at least on iPhone (Reeder for iPad doesn't have Fever support yet). Your plugin already has nearly everything I need for my mobile reading, worked rig...

Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

Hello all, Now that Reeder (one of the best iOS RSS readers) has support for Fever, it has the ability to specify a URL to a self-hosted RSS service. Well, you know what that means... Why don't we just emulate the Fever API for use with TT-RSS? Well, I did. The plugin is attached to this post. Simpl...

Re: posix_getpid() does not exist in PHP 5.3.1 Win32

Hmmm... I forgot about the function_exists() thing. Well given that it's purely cosmetic (unless you need to kill the process which made the lock, that is), no harm in wrapping it there too, I suppose. Thanks, that'll save me patching each time I check out...and I'm sure it'll help other on Win32 c...

Re: posix_getpid() does not exist in PHP 5.3.1 Win32

Seriously?! That's rather disappointing given the fact that it works perfect on an Apache, PHP, MySQL setup. Even in functions.php you have other "if (function_exists('posix_getpid'))" wrappers around posix function calls. Why not this one? That's a bit inconsistent. Not adding this one li...

posix_getpid() does not exist in PHP 5.3.1 Win32

Just updated to the latest SVN, couldn't update my feed list. posix_getpid() does not seem to exist as a function on PHP 5.3.1 running on Windows. To fix, comment out line 2239 in functions.php: fwrite($fp, posix_getpid() . "\n"); or wrap the fwrite line in: if (function_exists('posix_getp...

Disappearing Icons (in SVN)

Heya, Upgraded to the latest SVN, love the new loading icon in the sidebar....but sometimes after it has finished loading, the loading icon takes the original icon with it ;) Leaving it with a blank space. Happens fairly randomly, but I think it happens most often if say you used a keyboard shortcut...

Re: Timeout with lots of articles

I haven't really ever tried tt-rss in a VPS (let alone, on Windows). Not sure how php/mysql would behave in that kind of scenario. Maybe you should just enable purging and tweak the timeout until it stops being slow. You can try running the queries (e.g. the mark all as read query) in mysql console...

Re: Timeout with lots of articles

See my previous post for the timeout causing it not to load at all.... But I'd imagine that the extended mark as read time is probably not related. Or maybe it is? It's a shared VPS, AMD X2 4800+, 384MB RAM, Win2003. I've never really had any other timing problems with MySQL, so I don't think it's a...

Re: Timeout with lots of articles

Yup, running trunk. When it starts to reach 16k articles it becomes really slow...like...20 seconds just to mark all as read. Sometimes that's only 5 different articles. Even with 6k articles, trying to load All Articles produces the same 500 error. Seems to timeout after 10 seconds. I'll take a loo...

Timeout with lots of articles

Hi, I'm not sure if this is TT-RSS's fault or more the server configuration... I run Apache2.2 with PHP5, MySQL5. PHP is setup using FastCGI, in the past I had it setup using the Apache/PHP module. When my total article count beings to reach 18,000 things start to slow significantly and timeouts beg...
