Re: Enable embedded videos in feeds

@all If you're following trunk you will have to update to the latest version (adding the api_version spec recently added in tt-rrs). @aldursil Thanks, but I don't think videos from hbo have significant usage numbers in feeds. Eventually I want users to be able to choose which video sites they trust ...

Re: Android App/Scheduled Offline mode & managed space usage

Don't get me the wrong way, if it's a standard android framework thing (like exposing a separate activity or a broadcast receiver or something) and it's not excruciatingly hard I can of course add this. Llama can both start an activity and send a broadcast via Android's intent API. So yes, both wou...

Re: Enable embedded videos in feeds

Is the folder videoframes in your plugins folder? Does it contain the file init.php? Does your webserver have sufficient rights to read both files ("chmod 755 videoframes; chmod 644 videoframes/init.php")?

Re: Incompatible feed encoding

Well, it's a SHOULD clause. So the server is still rfc compliant. Just not "unconditionally compliant".

Re: Flash content not showing

The only thing that still bugs me is not being able to see the comments correctly in the slashdot feed. The comments are loaded in an iframe, and, as suggested some posts above, in lib/htmlLawed.php i commented out the 'iframe' tag in this line: With tt-rss 1.7.5 iframes should show up without any ...

Re: pinterest, owncloud, pocket, tweet, etc social plugins

In the interest of clarity, I would very much prefer a Wiki page. The forum doesn't allow for proper categorization and there appears to be no naming scheme for threads. Also it's not possible to edit ones posts (at least i can't) so information is quickly going to be buried inside a multi-page thre...

Re: Should embedded youtube videos work in 1.7.5?

Should already be fixed. Sorry, overlooked a typo in there somehow.

Please install the most recent version from https://github.com/tribut/ttrss-videoframes

Re: Enable embedded videos in feeds

I've pushed a new version that will replace "old" <object><embed></object> style flash videos with their iframe counterpart. This now accounts for almost all embedded videos I've encountered in feeds.

If you come across one that does not show up, please let me know.

Re: Should embedded youtube videos work in 1.7.5?

True. It's still relatively lightweight compared to what we're doing for every <a> and <img> tag anyway. If you think that's too much though, what about ⋅ Moving $allowed_elements and $disallowed_attributed from strip_harmful_tags to sanitize and pass it through ON_SANITIZE plugins or &sdo...

Re: Should embedded youtube videos work in 1.7.5?

I thought object was allowed by strip_harmful_tags. If it requires scripts though then nope. No, it's not. <embed> isn't either. And frankly, that's probably a good idea since flash and java applets can call javascript that runs within the same-origin boundary. Did you have a look at my question ab...
