My LiveJournal feed sucks: empty articles

One of my LiveJournal feeds constantly displays empty articles, and I don't know how to diagnose or fix it. This is the offending feed: http://kireev.livejournal.com/data/rss It's not the only LJ feed in my subscription, but it's the only feed that does that. The feed looks fine in myfeedsucks tool....

Missing Settings button on a tablet in landscape mode

I's not a big deal, but I can't find a Settings button or menu on a tablet in landscape mode. I use Nexus 7 (2013), Android 6.0.1, Tiny Tiny RSS version 1.167. Portrait mode (with the Settings button): http://i.imgur.com/GADqVi6.jpg Landscape mode (the button is missing): http://i.imgur.com/tjukwvg....

Re: phd comics subscription

I got the same response while attempting to manually download the feed url. I also tried supplying the user agent string, and got what looked like a correct feed file.

Re: phd comics subscription

It won't help a lot, but I, too, didn't have any problems subscribing to http://phdcomics.com/gradfeed.php.

You can try downloading the feed url on the server that hosts your Tiny Tiny RSS, and see what you get. By the way, where did your fresh install come from?

Re: Article list seems to loop back

does this happen if you disable the group by feed thing? No, it doesn't, but the j/k buttons start behaving weirdly: when I press j, it marks two duplicate articles as read and correctly selects the next unread article, but it doesn't scroll the article list all the way to see the next article. e: ...

Re: Article list seems to loop back

Yeah, I'm afraid there are identical ids. These are the two lifehacker feeds from my post above.

Re: Article list seems to loop back

I think some variation of this thing is still happening. I can quote the OP almost verbatim, the only things different in my case are the number of articles (usually 10-12), and the way I navigate through them using j/k. What I think is happening is certain feeds in the same category repost an artic...

Re: Help with filters

It's a stupidly obvious thing to point out, but, unless you're doing a full post fetch somewhere, I doubt you ever see in your reader the part of the post that contains the word you're trying to use in your filter.

Re: My update.php cron job is too slow

Here's my log (I don't have DAEMON_EXTENDED_DEBUG enabled): [21:07:59/9143] Base feed: http://feeds.gawker.com/lifehacker/vip [21:07:59/9143] => 2015-08-21 20:07:48, 128 2 [21:08:13/9143] 14.3593 (sec) So it's probably something specific to your setup. e: by the way, what do these numbers mean, 128 ...
