Re: backend generating something different than json

Not sure about the first two, but for the third one, can't you just call header("Content-Type: ....", true); // true means replace previous headers (it's the default, so you can also just leave it off) in whatever hook you use? (See the googlereaderimport plugin for an example of this in t...

Re: what are the additional features for a "power user"

Searching for just "power" (http://tt-rss.org/forum/search.php?keywords=%22power%22) yields http://tt-rss.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2393&p=13408&hilit=+power+#p13408. It's kind of unfortunate that "power user" isn't ever mentioned on the thread (it's plural, "...

Re: Trouble with a gc.ca feed

I'm not really sure if lotrfan's proposal will work, or result in an even more universal guid  The idea was to remove the GUID, and then let TT-RSS use the link (which looked somewhat more unique) as the GUID. Looking closer at the feed, however, I see that the links also probably aren't g...

Re: Trouble with a gc.ca feed

The GUID's in that feed aren't unique. You can either get them to fix their (horribly broken) feed, or you might be able to fix it using the ff_feedcleaner plugin. If you choose to try the second route, try a configuration like [ { "URL": "buyandsell.gc.ca", "type": &qu...

Re: xkcd "What If?" feed not working properly

For now (hopefully the feed does get fixed), [1] is the plugin I use to (sort-of) clean up the feed. It's really hacky, but it works :)

lotrfan: the css didn't have any effect with none or 1250px, any other ideas? Re: Issue with feed widths

This is set (I think) in the CSS. Try adding to your custom css: div.postContent p, body#ttrssZoom div.postContent p, body#ttrssZoom div.postContent img, div.cdmContentInner p { max-width: none !important; } to have it fill the entire width, or change "none" to some other value to make it ...

Re: Item Detail on Right instead of bottom

This is built in. If you're not in combined mode (and it sounds like you're not), toggle widescreen mode using either: the keyboard shortcut "a W" (press "a", then press "shift+w" after you release "a") or "Actions" menu -> "Toggle widescreen mo...

Re: Changing update.php single process update interval

Just to make sure you know, the updater doesn't actually check every feed every two minutes; it just checks to see if any feeds need to be checked (based on the update interval in the feed editor), and then checks them only if necessary. Most of the iterations won't do much more than perform a SQL q...

Re: af_gocomics plugin and xpath non-matching?

The XPath should find it, but the filtering loop (the "foreach ($entries as $entry) { ...") stops on the first img that has a src url matching "http://assets.amuniversal.com/..." . I updated the plugin to try to find the larger image, and then fall back on the regular size if nec...

@darrensimons, I would try feader's solution first.

Re: FEED_CRYPT_KEY requires mcrypt functions which are not f

As a simple fix, if you don't need authenticated feeds, or don't care if the usernames/passwords for the feeds are stored as plain text in the database, just set FEED_CRYPT_KEY to an empty string in config.php.

Re: Importing of Google Reader Cached Feeds

You should be able to run

Code: Select all

gzip file.xml

That will create a file.xml.gz file (and will remove the original). If you don't want to remove the original, add the "--keep" flag, e.g., gzip --keep file.xml
