Re: update_daemon is unable to read config.php

Hello, update_daemon2 is always throwing errors and does not update feeds like this: Jun 10 00:28:31 Atlantis php[6691]: PHP Warning: require_once(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/etc/webapps/tt-rss/config.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/srv/http/:/home/:/tmp/:/usr/share/pear/...

Re: af_feedmod

What does just subscribing to the feed do (i.e., without af_feedmod)? Do you get unreadable text then?
Also, what's the feed url?

Re: [1.7.6] Easy installing of themes

Did you install TT-RSS from source (download it from tt-rss.org) or using a package manager (apt-get, yum, pacman, etc.)? (It sounds like you installed using a package manager). If you used a package manager, what are you running TT-RSS on (i.e., what linux distribution)? The tt-rss folder should co...

Re: Proper way to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL

*shrug* all I can say is, I'm glad I did a zfs snapshot before I tried it. *grins* Always a good idea... I already had several days worth of data in the database, I wanted to migrate in old data from the old one, in addition. but, I 'spose it's not worth the effort at this point. In theory, it shou...

Re: Proper way to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL

ok, I tried it on the gzipped file, and it said: [01:42:29/19733] Gunzipping... and dropped me back to a prompt. so, i gunzipped it manually, and am giving it another try. That's not good... probably more out-of-memory issues, although mine handled the 15MB (gzipped, 70MB uncompressed) file without...

well, nope, I tried an import, and it said "opening backend.php" as if it were going to download it. what I got was {"error":{"code":7}} Try it now... If you import using the command line, you should get a progress indicator. Run it using: ./update.php --xml_import_all...

Re: Proper way to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL

if you're going to continue with this, it'd be a lot easier if you'd put it in it's own branch in github, instead of buried... it's a bit of a pain to pick those two files out. of course, I know very little about git, so I'm probably missing something. Good point... https://github.com/lotrfan/ttrss...

Re: Proper way to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL

If you're curious, the error is generated because PHP runs out of memory when loading the (probably quite large) XML file. That was one of the reasons original import_export only transfers starred articles. Otherwise you need to generate series of XML files or something like that. I used some hacks...

Also, it will only export 100,000 articles; if you need more, change the constant on line 146 (or just remove that part of the if statement)

Re: Proper way to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL

Ok... try it now. If it doesn't work, try it again after disabling gzip output in config.php (the setting is ENABLE_GZIP_OUTPUT). If it still doesn't work, post the output of /backend.php?op=pluginhandler&plugin=import_export_all&subop=debug If you're curious, the error is generated because ...

Re: Trouble updating tt-rss

There were some config changes that happened between 1.7.8 and 1.7.9... I'm not sure why the config version wasn't bumped.. It's probably easiest to: * backup your current config.php * copy config.php-dist to config.php * update the new config.php You can also manually merge the changes made. For a ...

What feader said... Also check (and post, please) the output of which tar Alternatively, as feader mentioned, updating via git is also a very nice method. Re: Trouble updating tt-rss

Sounds like a permissions issue...
Run

Code: Select all

chown -R nobody /volume1/web

as root to change the owner to the user nobody. (the command could take awhile... it changes ownership recursively)

Alternatively,

Code: Select all

chmod 0777 /volume1/web

to set world-write permissions... it's not as secure, though.
