Re: Fatal error, unknown preferences key: DIGEST_ENABLE

So anyways, I'm also getting this error in 1.7.9 approximately twice every two minutes. Is it a problem with my setup, or something I shouldn't worry about? I flailed around with the forum search (and of course checked the FAQ, known bugs list, bug tracker, etc. and even Google) and wasn't able to g...

Thanks, that was the key! 'php-cli' is what I needed to be using.

Not sure why it had been working fine until now.

Re: daemon user needs shell?

Check if PHP_EXECUTABLE defined in config.php is actually a PHP cli interpreter and you can run update subtasks using it, e.g. "/usr/bin/php update.php" It was working fine for the past couple months and past few release versions of tt-rss. Here's the output of running update.php: # /usr/...

Re: daemon user needs shell?

After updating to 1.7.9, my feeds seem to have stopped updating automatically. I can force updates by clicking on the feeds in the web UI, but otherwise I don't get any. The web UI doesn't show any alerts about the daemon or database malfunctioning. The error log in my admin account is showing the &...

Re: Cannot load more articles when scroll bar is not visible

This appears likely to be fixed in 1.7.9, as tt-rss now seems to enable the scrollbar even for feeds that have very few headlines visible.

Re: Cannot load more articles when scroll bar is not visible

I did, but apparently I failed. Any hints on what to search for besides "scroll" or "scrollbar" that would lead me to a thread that you're hinting at the existence of? Going back 2 months in the search results, the only report of a similar issue I could find is a post with no rep...

Cannot load more articles when scroll bar is not visible

Using v1.7.8 with the default web UI with combined=false. Sometimes when the article content pane is closed when I click on a feed, tt-rss will populate the headlines pane with a small enough number of unread headlines that a scroll bar doesn't appear. This gives the false appearance that all unread...

[1.7.8] Loading error on Firefox 3.0.6 (lol?)

Stuck on an old box this morning with Firefox 3.0.6. Tried logging into my tt-rss install and got a loading error at 20% that generated a bug report: http://tt-rss.org/report.php?view=b786aa1109707d32083e8e9d9550268c8c82aa69 If nothing else, this may help determine what minimum version of Firefox is...

Re: Favicon badge plugin

Right, but my point was that the usefulness of an "automatic" updater is limited if it's still necessary to SSH in to fix/reinstall/migrate plugins.

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

As of mobile detection & redirection, I need to get in contact with fox and sort this out. But it's on a lower priority & I'm expecting to have less free time to work on this in the coming weeks. No worries. You may want to toss a note into the readme to warn people against installing in a ...

Re: Favicon badge plugin

Hello, I have upgraded from 1.7.6 to 1.7.8 today and the favicon plugin is not working anymore. Am I the only one ? Thank you I had it and another non-bundled-by-default plugin working in 1.7.6, and they seem to have disappeared entirely from the plugins list after the updater plugin installed 1.7....

Re: Mobile webapp for TT RSS: ttrss-mobile

Two issues have cropped up with new versions of tt-rss: First : installing this to a direct subdirectory of tt-rss causes it to get wiped out by the auto updater plugin. I know this is relevant because some of us were installing to the mobile/ subdirectory, and the default config of ttrss-mobile use...

Re: [1.7.5] No favicons after upgrade

That's all I wanted to know, thanks.

Fortunately I hadn't wiped out my old install yet (had moved it outside of my public_html path) so I was able to just copy the old icons over, but I wanted to know for future reference.

Seems weird to throttle downloading of something so small.

Re: [1.7.5] No favicons after upgrade

Do the favicons eventually re-download automatically, or is copying from an old version/installation/backup the only practical way to restore them after a manual upgrade?

Searching Google lead me to this thread instead of the other one. Thanks to mikeww for the link.
