Re: daemon user needs shell?

@sleeper_service: I didn't like when you moved from the man himself to the language. It was no better than his email comment to fox. it was merely meant as a commentary on the word, and many others like it, there are many compounded words in german, I thought it was amusing that we had to reformat ...

possible interface bug?

how to reproduce: settings: adaptive, oldest first. (not sure if that matters) search articles for something, pick 'all feeds'. scroll through results, then after searching, click 'fresh articles' to see new fresh articles. still shows search results. have to click on another group then back on fres...

oh, I'll freely admit to the porn, but that's all in a different folder, and filtered through the 'nsfw' plugin ;)

Re: daemon user needs shell?

you know how german is, when they need new words, they just mash other words together. Of course I'd take any advice for a better job description from you. Let me tell you that I freely translated it from "Serverbetrieb", which is more of a "making sure that everything runs flawlessl...

Can I simply make those edits to my viewfeed.js? I'm running 1.7.9.

I'd suggest looking into running trunk via git clone/git pull, it really is much nicer, plus you get fox's new teaks and improvements faster ;)

Re: hide specific labels from fresharticles or startlabel ch

Personally I feel that grown man hiding porn in a byzantine labyrinth of folders like a 12 year old boy would do from his mom is the problem best solved by growing the fuck up, not adding complexity to the news reader application. Either that or add a separate account, that at least has some merit ...

Re: daemon user needs shell?

I like the job title. "Servermanagement". That could mean anything. He might manage the boxes they came in. you know how german is, when they need new words, they just mash other words together. way back in the day, I saw a bunch of bios screens in different languages for the computer man...

Re: Next Article hotkey doesn't work as expected while scrol

I'm watching, in expanded mode, the checkbox on the upper left, as soon as article a hit's the top, article b below it gets checked. if article a is longer than the screen, article b gets checked as soon as, if not before, it hits the bottom of the screen, if I then hit the hotkey, I get article c, ...

Re: Next Article hotkey doesn't work as expected while scrol

though, not to be mr picky, but shouldn't it mark the article read *after* it scrolls out of the window, not the instant the top of the article scrolls into the bottom of the window?

Re: daemon user needs shell?

Just to clarify this a bit, I'm a fulltime server admin, so I usually know my way around a system, just php is not my kind of beef ;) I think you really lost traction after that, not knowing what it means when the shell tells you > sh: /php: not found really damages your credibility. "I run li...

Re: relatively new errors.

I've been using update_daemon2 --tasks=4, I'll try the plain update.php and see if I see anymore errors, and report back.
