Re: Periodic releases are over

FreeBSD has a package itself, similar to linux distros I guess and they seem to have happily managed to switch to git using the package framework: http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/www/tt-rss/Makefile?revision=378682&view=markup although it's pegged to a specific git commit and I guess they'l...

Re: Feed reported as malformed

Curl just got updated to 7.41.0 so I switched it back to the real URL for a test and the feed is parsed properly now. So was obviously a bug in the underlying curl 7.40.0 version as you suggested fox. So all sorted, and thanks :D

Re: Feed reported as malformed

I just wrote a little bit of PHP to use exactly the same curl extension to download the feed and then just spit it straight back out again. Subscribed to that instead and tt-rss is quite happy, no errors reported. If I switch back to the real feed URL it errors with malformed again, so I have no ide...

Re: Periodic releases are over

I've been pulling the latest git updates pretty much daily or so for a couple of years now. It's hugely easier to do than playing around with tarball releases. Things like the af_comics filters get fixed in a day or so instead of having to wait for months. The only time really I've ever had to do mo...

Re: Feed reported as malformed

Yep, that fixed it. The feed fetched fine with that added to the config. It's very strange that it can fetch it the first time but it then fails the second time. I wondered if it was doing something weird with If-Modified-Since but it seems to work fine with the curl command line. It's FreeBSD and t...

Re: Larger Dilbert image plugin

Perfect! Yes I was using a feedburner URL. Changed it to the first one you said and that works fine. Thanks!

Re: Feed reported as malformed

Ahhhhh interesting. Yes I only did the f D debug after clearing out all the old articles and then refreshing it which didn't show any errors, it just fetched the feed normally and parsed it. But if I do it again now it shows this: <!-- CP[0] 0.0000 seconds --> <!-- CP[04] 0.0088 seconds --> [18:04:1...

Re: Larger Dilbert image plugin

Today Dilbert returns: "Dilbert readers - Please visit Dilbert.com to read this feature. Due to changes with our feeds, we are now making this RSS feed a link to Dilbert.com." Any way to circumvent this? Been getting this again for a while now. I can see that a git commit on Jan 15th was ...

Feed reported as malformed

One of my feeds ( http://roundcube.net/feeds/atom.xml ) is coloured red and logged as failing to update with an error saying "3 malformed". I've checked it with a feed validator, and I've run it through the feed checker in the stickied thread on this forum and they both say it's a valid an...

Re: Support setting Strict Transport Security

HSTS should definitely be implemented on the webserver rather than the content. Otherwise you could end up in situations where the header is sent when the host doesn't even support SSL, or having the header sent twice. It's easy enough to configure on the webserver. For example I use nginx and you j...

Re: New iOS app: feedsushi

Doesn't look like I can enter a - hyphen symbol in the server settings in either the Account Name or the URL. This is a problem as my installation is on /tt-rss/

Oh god. You have to do that kind of thing with Feed Burner. Is feedpress.me the same thing I wonder?

Re: Issue with FML feed

Ahhh I never thought of trying it with a different user-agent. I have another feed that does similar so I wrote a script to proxy the feed and fix it. I'll try doing the same with this one. Thanks!

Edit: That works. Stupid site.

Issue with FML feed

Any idea why tt-rss has an issue with this feed: http://feedpress.me/fmylife . This worked for ages but has recently started giving the error "LibXML error 76 at line 9 (column 8): Opening and ending tag mismatch: link line 7 and head ". The feed validator claims it's a valid feed except f...
