Re: Automatic offline mode

I only have basic 2G GPRS in some areas near where I live and it still works OK without needing an offline mode.

Re: Reeder (iOS) integration with TT-RSS (via Fever API)

For what it's worth I use Reeder (both version 1.x and 2.x) and have had no problems like this. My phone frequently changes IP address when I go from two different WiFi networks to 3G and so on and I've never been asked to log in again so it sounds like a possible problem specific to the server than...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Woo! This is excellent now. Thank you for this! The icons make it so much nicer to use in my opinion. Adds a bit of colour. In case you're interested though I'm just reporting another little bug. I checked out the webserver access logs again to see if the double slash had vanished now (it has!) and ...

Re: PHP library which speeds up tt-rss

Pretty much sounds like the same thing to me. I can't imagine it being anything other than an opcode cache? FYI php-apc is no longer actively developed and it's recommended to switch to zend-opcache now which is bundled with the latest versions of PHP.

Re: Headers and client library minor version mismatch

You run the trunk subversion version of MySQL? So you aren't just happy to run a database server that breaks various standards, does weird things with data integrity, and can randomly lose your data. You also want to run the bleeding edge version of this? OK....

Re: mySQL table purge question (aka overtaxing system)

Set the "Purge articles after this number of days" option to a low number and it will delete all articles that are older than that (mine is set to 14 days). However this only means all articles which are older than that and are not still in the feed. If the feed itself has say 20 articles ...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Ok for the icons, but it needs some works and I need to look how to retrieve them with the API. Not sure if there are any functions or not in the API for this. But if not I guess all you have to do is get the feed ID number and then use the tt-rss installation URL with /feed-icons/<number>.ico.

Re: 1.9 to 1.10 - update performance regression

Other than the language detection that fox mentioned, is it possible this kind of thing is now being reported because of the changes to the MySQL schema to change three of the tables to InnoDB? Maybe on crap VMs or shared hosting the engine change now means the update daemon is waiting for MySQL to ...

Re: Out of memory issues

Definitely enough. My PHP memory limit is set to 128MB and I have approx 70 feeds and it works perfectly fine. There's tons of other things running on my server too including several other websites and web applications so 256MB is more than enough. Must be something else. I guess the operating syste...

Re: Feedburner status ?

Works here: $ telnet 2a00:1450:4013:c01::76 80 Trying 2a00:1450:4013:c01::76... Connected to ea-in-x76.1e100.net. Escape character is '^]'. I had that error in tt-rss occasionally myself when I had no IPv6 connectivity. An hour later it would happily work though. Even though the settings on my serve...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Click into one of those feeds from your screenshot, you see the list of articles within those special feeds. But they all look generally the same. It's just nice to have the favicon shown. Adds a bit of colour, and it makes it quite easy to scroll down the list looking for specific feeds. And yes. I...

Re: tiny Reader RSS for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad

Just checked it out, it's looking pretty good now. Just to let you know though it's still doing the double slash thing in the POST to the API. "POST /tt-rss//api/". Also definitely needs favicons in the special feeds to make it nice and easy to quickly identify which posts belong to which ...

Re: Out of memory issues

If it's not run out of physical memory it's probably a php.ini setting where the amount of memory available to PHP is limited. Check the memory_limit parameter and increase it.
