Re: TinyTiny on Openshift

Actually, it's a little disconcerting how much hate they get around here. Why are they terrible? A More importantly, are you running ttrss on a different platform then? I was looking for a free hosted solution which is how I arrived at openshift. If that's not the right way to go I'm open to other ...

Re: TinyTiny on Openshift

FYI openshift is terrible and I'm not really supporting that anymore, but I'll try to check in on pull requests as they come in.

Re: bug with reddit feeds (but not a ttrss specific problem)

Did you catch this one? https://www.reddit.com/r/changelog/comm ... to/cze69wd

They didn't even test it with thunderbird, the supposed reason they were switching to begin with.

That was only 4 well-chosen words.

I demand you fix that bug immediately with 6 more words.

Dunno about that one, but on mine you can just 'cd php ; git pull ; cd ..' and then commit the resulting change

Re: A pray for the return of the read/unread button (Android

are you dumb? star something, you'll then see it on top of starred feed, read it or whatever, and unstar it's not rocket science people e: bonus lol at people using unread instead of adaptive, smh That puts it in a different feed (starred). I'm just pointing out that there is in fact a reduction in...

Re: A pray for the return of the read/unread button (Android

What is the "new" way to view all new plus any "postponed" entries in that situation? (Something that was opened on mobile/etc and postponed for later.)

Re: Couldn't resolve host

Before they start calling you named, dns is handled by the host. So you need to start with the basics - does ping/wget/curl work? (eg "curl ipecho.net/plain" from the command-line.) If so, then it is something in the web environment that is broken, and I'll leave that level of help to the ...

Right, that was what I was thinking of. Either way, it happens because they fucked up the database..

Re: How to clean db?

The problem with openshift (other than just terrible performance etc) is that they disable autovacuum. If you submit a ticket, they will raise your quota long enough to run a manual vacuum, then you should be good to go until the next time. Be sure to file (yet another) bug report with them about it...

Re: Cache images from starred articles

FYI gzip is definitely breaking images for me. Just tested with and without, and I get broken images with it on and actual images with it off. (I know its a somewhat old thread, but I thought searching was more fun than posting a new thread..) Both broken and working images show as 200 in the logs, ...

Re: OpenShift quickstart for Tiny Tiny RSS (with Feedly them

As far as size, remember that OS doesn't always handle vacuuming sanely. https://github.com/disconn3ct/tiny_tiny_rss-openshift-quickstart/issues/5 on my TTRSS OS quickstart has some info on what can happen and how to prevent/recover. (I'll probably be adding a vacuumdb cron job in the next update so...
