Can I use git to update if I didn't use git to install?

I've got just a basic idea of how git works, after reading some stuff and watching videos, but I haven't actually "used" it for anything besides "clone". I also read the "using git with trunk" thread, or whatever it's called. That's all cool, but I don't think it answer...

Re: Next Article hotkey doesn't work as expected while scrol

Wow, sweet.

Can I simply make those edits to my viewfeed.js? I'm running 1.7.9.

Next Article hotkey doesn't work as expected while scrolling

Not sure if this is a problem with my install, a feature request, or as-designed. Behavior: ('Automatically mark articles as read' and 'combined feed display') scrolling past articles marks them as read, but if the user then uses a hotkey like J, the article list jumps to the top-most article (or th...

Re: Next-Prev Toolbar

It'd be awesome if someone could post the entire php.ini of the plugin. I'm having trouble getting it to work (ie. show up in my plugins list in 1.7.9).

Re: Next-Prev Toolbar

Thanks! This is weird but when I dropped your folder into plugins (via ftp), it doesn't show up in my tt-rrss plugins list (yes, I did a forced refresh of Chrome mac). And when I added your folder without first disabling the regular next-prev toolbar my plugin list is completely blank. Any idea why?

Re: All articles marked read Raspberry pi, lighttpd, postgre

I did check my time zones. Looks okay. It's prob something obvious, but I don't know enough about this shiz. Until last week I thought Apache was the only type of web server. Just to update: I never got my setup to work using postgresql. But I installed mysql and it is working okay. Got no folder ic...

Re: All articles marked read Raspberry pi, lighttpd, postgre

No filters. Everything is freshly installed. Dbl-clicking the feeds they update fine and do not become automatically read. But when I use update.php or update_daemon2.php the feeds update and immediately become read. I do not see errors while watching daemon2 run, but I guess it could still be jacke...

All articles marked read Raspberry pi, lighttpd, postgresql

I got tt-rss running fine on Dreamhost, so like an idiot I thought I'd try it on a raspberry pi. The feeds actually DO seem to be updating because shit appears in the adaptive view that I've never read - it's all there - but there are NO COUNTERS. EDIT** Okay, articles are getting marked as read as ...

Re: Next-Prev Toolbar

idoxlr8: thanks for such a handy plugin. I am using the grauerSkin theme which I thought conflicted with the new icons. So I took the liberty to modify the css and the images used. I'm not saying it is for everyone and not suggesting that you change the default. I just thought I would share my hack...
