Re: Thumb images on Android Client

Did a quick test with the TTRSS-Client and the images display with that one, so it looks to be a client issue rather than a server issue.

Re: purge content of read articles

FWIW I have lots of feeds that have photos... I don't cache them and I'm not having any performance issues. I also never delete anything.

Thumb images on Android Client

Here is the feed url: http://news.google.com/news?pz=1&ned=us&hl=en&topic=h&num=3&output=rss I've notice that on the web client, there is an image displayed (I'm calling it thumbnail, but that probably isn't the correct term) on the upper left side of the article.... it's a small...

Google Plus isn't a rss/atom feed; so you can't subscribe to it with TTRSS.

Re: Error when adding feed-icons

OK... think I got this figured out, was getting confused from the error I had, the warning message and permissions doc. 1. Needed to modify /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf for nginx. For Fedora, it is set to apache - probably shouldn't be as default but that is a question I will take up with the packager. 2...

Re: PHP support for PostgreSQL is required for configured pg

Please don't post advice unless you know what you are talking about. This is how android forums operate and I will have none of that here. Yeah, sorry about that. You're 100% correct. I was lazy in my response. I just noticed the list of items that were installed and noticed it didn't match what wa...

Re: Error when adding feed-icons

My httpd user is nginx... I had an error with php-fpm.d that I corrected. TTRSS automatically went out and obtained the majority of the feed-icons with no problem, no errors. I had a few feed icons that it didn't get (about 5 out of 80) so I manually downloaded those, worked fine. This is only occur...

Re: Error when adding feed-icons

Thanks, but no I have SELinux turned off. Fox, your doc says to set permissions at 777, yet when I use the application to load a favicon, it creates it with 600 and generates the error. I then have to manually set it back to 777 to get it to work. That is why I started asking the question in the fir...

Re: Error when adding feed-icons

Well, tried something else and here is what is happening... btw, switched everything back to 777 to eliminate that possibility and that didn't help. If I try to replace an existing favicon with something else, using the script I get this error: E_WARNING (2) classes/pref/feeds.php:521 unlink(/var/ww...

Re: Error when adding feed-icons

Found the ownership issue. For Fedora 18 needed to modify: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf The default user and group was apache, changed to nginx. Checked feed-icons and new.ico now created nginx:nginx - however, still created with 600 - and it's working fine. Question for Fox - is 600 sufficient? Appears ...

Error when adding feed-icons

I had a few feeds which don't have an icon so decided to add manually, they weren't showing after I went through the add/update dialog so went to error log and found this: E_WARNING (2) classes/pref/feeds.php:521 unlink(/var/www/html/rss/cache/upload/iconEGzjDW): No such file or directory Then check...

Re: PHP support for PostgreSQL is required for configured pg

One other thought... I saw a post which said to include all these: php-pear php-pdo php-mysql php-pgsql php-pecl-memcache php-gd php-mbstring php-mcrypt php-xml php-xmlrpc (of course you won't need php-mysql, but I just listed all the post mentioned, you would want php-pgsql) Don't know if they're a...
