Sorry, badly worded on my part. I meant to say that more and more apps are using swipe as a means to bring up context menus etc. The latest Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ apps exhibit it

Any view on my first point?

Any chance of the app moving on to the next unread feed after clicking Mark all as read? It's unintuitive to be faced by a blank screen rather than something else to read
