Well, chown on ttrss/ sets the permissions for the ttrss/ directory, which is sufficient for running. But in order to rename the ttrss/-directory you need write permissions on the parent directory. The updater should display a hint, when this error occurs: if (!is_writable($work_dir) && !is_...

I guess you need write permissions on the parent directory of ttrss, since it tries to rename the ttrss-directory.

The inverse match-option is gone since 1.6.0.
A filter like (?!Word) should work, to filter everything but Word.
As far as I know, the filter test is broken, but it should work.

I dont know. I use iceweasel in debian and tyeaheadfind is not active per default, so it doesnt annoy me. I just rememberd this functionality and looked for it in case this behaviour is not wanted :).

If you want to, you can disable the automatic search when start typing in about:config.
Search for accessibility.typeaheadfind and disable it.

Didn't read the whole affected sourcecode, but this does not mark a feed as updated, when the the article was updated AND the comment count changes, does it?
