Re: TT-RSS client for Firefox OS

Cool !

Would it be possible to limit the width of the article at the screen width ? As an option if you want, or by default.

By the way : I LOVE the tiny pie chart showing which proportion of articles of the list you've already read.

Re: log rotation

is possible to rotate log files? Yes. Use logrotate, that's why it has been written. some feed in my service is bad and update.php doesn't update more, but i can't understand where is the problem. Maybe this could : 1. be in another thead (can't see why this problem is in a thread entitled "lo...

Re: TT-RSS install error

So… don't run ttrss with the root user. Simple as reading the error message. Don't you have a www-data or www user which is the common user for running web sites' scripts ?

Re: Theme - Chalk - Improved

Juste a suggestion : what do you think of adding that ? #feeds-holder .counterNode.aux { background: grey; } That allows to distinguish the unread count and the "how many articles are in this category" : I starred some articles and published some others and your css (which I find very cool...

Hi,

Here's a toolbar for easy access to feed functions : https://github.com/ldidry/framarticle_toolbar.git

Based on the article_toolbar by idoxlr8 https://github.com/idoxlr8/article_toolbar

Re: Update daemon scalability ?

Maybe the heavy cache reading ? When I put the cache on tmpfs, a lot of feeds get updated really fast. Whatever, I just put another instance with postgresql. It's night and day. I can use more threads for my update daemon (6/7 was the max with mysql) and the load is more steady than with mysql. Well...

Re: Update daemon scalability ?

And the bottleneck is… the cache ! I put it on tmpfs and waooo ! Hit the lightspeed, Chewie ! Here's my /etc/fstab relevant line : none /var/www/ttrss/cache/ tmpfs defaults,uid=1000,gid=1000,mode=750,size=4G 0 0 (Yeah, 4G is a lot, but we have a lot of users and feeds) Here's a post on how not to lo...

Re: Update daemon scalability ?

The update.php is not cpu intensive, indeed, but mysql is. That's why I don't use 8 threads : I would not be able to do something else on the server.

Re: Update daemon scalability ?

I don't think network is the problem since it's an dedicated server (100Mb/s up and down). Mysql's a shit, yeah, that's what I thought. We are not a company, we are an association which militate for an open internet and for free softwares (as in freedom of speech). We propose some services like ethe...
