apply filter to unread

When I create a filter or add/change the filter, I often wish that I could apply the filter to the currently unread articles. For example, I see something about AWS because they've made some announcement and want to create a filter to add a label to those items mentioning AWS. The announcement would...

Went back to preferences and opened the custom css and it was empty. re-entered and made sure i saved. same thing. can custom css be set...

Re: Autorefresh + mark as read issue in List Mode

Fox, it is a lot, but I for one find the grouped very important. I have lots of feeds and articles and seeing the items grouped by feed is important for me to get the flow of a discussion (like for the forums) or a few other types of feeds. As a matter of fact, when I try to use offline mode in the ...

php 7?

Just read that php 7 is at rc2 and is being measured as 2x faster than php 5. Fox, have you tried tt-rss with php 7 or has anyone else? Are there any compatibility issues?

Add "edit feed" to right click on feed header

In the right pane, when I am scrolling through feeds and items for a category I'd like the ability to add an "edit feed" to the right click menu I get when I click the feed separator line that has the feed title. As I am reading I sometimes want to change things about a feed (category, whe...

Re: enabling af_readability on article matching a filter

Fox, thanks and love the way you've implemented. Makes it so easy to add to an existing plugin. Will be hacking on this today.

Re: enabling af_readability on article matching a filter

As a thought, you could add a new action called "execute plugin" and have the user type name or select from a list. This becomes one of the actions executed after you fetch the actions to apply on an article. it could be something like: if (find_article_filter($article_filters, 'plugin'){ ...

Re: enabling af_readability on article matching a filter

I understand about the filter stuff not being plugable. I thought this could be a new base action capability, not a plugin. The problem that the hook gets called way before the filters are obtained and the matches checked. The regex stuff you suggest would have to duplicate lots of code that is alre...

enabling af_readability on article matching a filter

I would like to see a way to have readability applied to articles that match a filter. perhaps you could add an action to the available actions for a filter match to apply af_readability (fetch the full content and apply readability) if the plugin is enabled and the app. I looked at the code the the...

Re: Heads up: native fulltext search on pgsql

Sorry, since nginx was shut down before I ran the update and the only thing I did after restarting was login and click preferences, thought the message might be enough. too much crud now in logs, but will see if I can dig out anything.

Re: Heads up: native fulltext search on pgsql

I restore my database from a backup of a Aug 3. I reran the gen-index and it stopped at the correct number of records. I started the server and when I went to the preferences / system screen it paused for a great while and showed this pretty strange screen: At that ...

Re: Heads up: native fulltext search on pgsql

Just noticed that if I try to open the system tab in preferences it seems to hang. used psql and there are 10K rows in the table. Not sure what happened. Tried to delete from ttrss_error_log and that just seems to hang. Operation seems fine, but I'd like to have access to error logs. Any idea of how...

Re: Heads up: native fulltext search on pgsql

I started this this morning. Initially it started running at a good clip. I left alone and went back 30-40 minutes later. It was now displaying the messages for each line, instead of every 500. I left running for another 30 minutes. it was on item 119,xxx. I seemed to remember that there was a messa...
