Re: [Android] General questions

sleeper_service you are *WAY* more sensitive than Fox is and I think the last thing he or we need is a knight in shining armor rushing to defend his sacred purity. I know you are active here, so I think you know Fox is perfectly capable of defending himself, if he felt it was worth the bother. And i...

Re: [Android] General questions

@pcause i appreciate your try not writing 100%bullshit which semms to be the normal behaviour to newbies here. making fun of poeple because things are NOT and NOWHERE documantated is a evidence of incapacity. to be proud of this, is brain-fag. but if your all lifes has nothing better to entertain y...

Re: [Android] General questions

I have received more than my $4 worth of entertainment value by being able to read Fox's posts and the mobile client means that I never have to miss one of his insightful and detailed explanations of tt-rss to newbies. I suggest all users pay the $4, even if you own an iphone, to support Fox's conti...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

I enabled the classifier and things seemed fine. Was going through feeds and marking things up/down for about 20+ minutes. I then got a message that my updater was not updating / taking too long in the browser. Killed the updater script and restarted but no difference. Started again, with logging an...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

Fox, I'd think that when I mark an article as publish or star it should be equivalent to clocking the thumbs up on the article. After all, if you are sharing or starring you must think the article is important in some way. Can the plugin add the capability to mark an article good if either of those ...

Re: Android app broken since one of the last updates

I've been using every release of the Android app on 2 devices and have also been running from git and nothing seems broken for me. Whenever I've seen the "server can't be reached" message it is because of a communications issue. Are you using dynamic DNS and has your IP changed? Is your IS...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

fox, thanks for adding more stop words. i'd think this is an area that you might want to let a user tune with an ability to add/remove words and perhaps treat certain words as +/- indicators. for example, if I am an apple fanbois I might want to add +iphone, +iwatch, +ios, -android and have any arti...

Re: Bayesian classifier for TTRSS

Wikipedia has a list of the 100 most common English words: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_common_words_in_English all of these should likely be excluded. e: here is one that has the 500 most common and a link to common verbs http://world-english.org/english500.htm trick is to pick the right amou...

Re: Setting up of the number of published feed items?

In the URL to access the published feed you can have an argument called limit. This allows you to get more/fewer items.

Code: Select all

&limit=100

as an example. Haven't looked at te code recently to see if there is an upper limit on what you can specify through this argument.

[Android Client] All articles

I really love the addition of the "All articles" item when I am looking at my feed categories or a single category, where I can see all the feeds or just click the "All articles" to see the individual feed items for all of the feeds in the category. 2 ideas/suggestions: - When I ...

Re: Tapatalk integration

Fox, couldn't agree more. The way they take over the window is beyond annoying. And then the app isn't very good. I actually found the very early versions of the app quite a bit better. Now, pure crap!

Re: [Android Client] Compact headline mode

What I've noticed is that the circle is *so* big that I love space for headline text and that checkbox style gives me more text on a single line. I know that Google has guidelines but is there a way to shrink the size of the circle. I loved this mode before the circles, but a lot less so now. I know...
