Re: about Headline display mode,Swipe and Volume Key

Edit: Argh of course this is not really working since flavorImage might indeed be NULL so I changed this a little bit if (item.flavorImage == null) { holder.textImage.setImageDrawable(textDrawable); holder.textImage.setTag(null); } else { String imgHeight = item.flavorImage.attr("height");...

Re: about Headline display mode,Swipe and Volume Key

Hello Fox, I noticed a corner case with several feeds I have here. For licensing reasons these feeds do not show images in the rss feed but they STILL include pictures with a width and height of 1 though. The current code for the badge creation uses these pictures which then results in no badge been...

Re: about Headline display mode,Swipe and Volume Key

fox wrote:yeah, that too is kinda eh

it would maybe work if the picture was clipped inside the similar circle

I think this would not look to bad, given that you see this with your profile icons too in some applications and it takes care of the different sized pictures as well.

Re: about Headline display mode,Swipe and Volume Key

Well the circles are also used to select more than one article so I wonder how this will work with icons. Seems a little bit strange to click on the icons to mark them instead of opening the content.

[Android Client] Swipe gestures in the Article List

When I tested inbox for my mail and found the swiping gestures for mails very handy. Swipe to the left mark as read, swipe to the right remember for later. I am wondering if this will make sense for the article view too? Instead of clicking on to small icons at the bottom, swipe it to the left to ma...

Re: Option to Not Expand Current Article in Combined Mode?

I exclusively view feeds in combined mode with the "Automatically expand articles in combined mode" unchecked. Thus, when viewing a feed, all articles are unexpanded except the current article. While the current article is selected, I can press "o" or "Enter", to unexp...

Re: [Android Client] Embedded Video support

oh and it doesn't pause when i switch to fullscreen or back, just goes on seamlessly Ok, I tried this on my tablet (4.4.4) and it did not crash. I see another problem here though. With the tablet I see the article list on the left hand side and the article fragment on the right side. If I make the ...

Re: [Android Client] Embedded Video support

i've fucked around with this some more and it seems to mostly work on my device i'll push the stuff into master soon, pls test it Hello Fox, I gave it a quick run on my 4.3 based mobile. Video works and also switching to fullscreen. It pauses when you do this but you can hit play again. The only pr...

Re: [Android Client] Embedded Video support

Guess what, your code is working for me partly. The system changes to the new view but is not fullscreen, since it is still shown in the article itself. The reason I think is becuase the contentView is set to article_scrollview. What we would need is a view that is spanning the whole screen for vide...

Re: [Android Client] Embedded Video support

Yeah, but especially on tablets it would be nice to switch to a fullscreen view. Furthermore clicking the fullscreen button on the view hangs the application at least for me. It should be possible to get that stupid fullscreen without crashing.
