That is utterly useless. There's no clear description of what was happening and no clear description of a fix.

Could you tell us what you did so if someone else has a similar problem, they might benefit from your experience?

It is in the documentation, just after the install section. I think it's called update feeds or something.

fwiw i just made an ubuntu 14.04 vm, installed a generic LAMP server, git cloned tt-rss, and didn't run into any errors with that feed so yeah, now i'm officially out of ideas. tell us your secrets, op l33t 5k1llZ?... :twisted: I really did not mean for this to decent into the deep bowels of MySQL....
