I note you're performming *brilliantly* and not posting *any* relevant information *at all*.

*waves hand over crystal ball*

maybe because you're using it wrong?

What does just subscribing to the feed do (i.e., without af_feedmod)? Do you get unreadable text then?
Also, what's the feed url?

While trying to solve the problem, the owner of the feed itself has made its "full-text".

Without af_feedmod text readable.
RSS: http://shkolazhizni.ru/img/export/shkolazhizni.rss

Hmm, no. TTRSS load "content" from other feed. Question still exists.

Hi

I just installed tt-rss in my server, and just set some codes for af_feedmod.
But I have some problems in some sites... could you help me?

tt-rss 1.8
RSS feed: cartoon.media.daum.net/webtoon/rss/jamjam
article address: http://cartoon.media.daum.net/webtoon/viewer/21264
xpath: /html/body/div[3]/div[2]/div/div

FreeMod code:
"media.daum": {
"type": "xpath",
"xpath": "/html/body/div[3]/div[2]/div/div"
},

I have read the thread, and fixed the '/' and '//' code.
The problem is... It seems that the site uses javascript on load to load images, but af_feedmod just do not run those javascript(tested by af_feedmod/tests/xpath.php).
So images are not loaded by af_feedmod.

Could you help me? I am stucked here...
sorry for my poor English.

It looks like these feeds have become truncated, too. Perhaps there is a new feed which is fulltext, but for now I solved the problem with af_feedmod.

This seems to work well for me:

Code: Select all

"gizmodo": {
"type": "xpath",
"xpath": "div[@class='eight mobile-four columns end js_ad300-companion']",
"force_charset": "utf-8"
}

Replace "gizmodo" with "io9", "jalopnik", etc.

The xpath argument is different from what was correct in May, so it's likely that it will change again in the future, requiring another update. Firefox's "Inspector" (ctrl-shift-i) tool makes the xpath pretty easy to figure out.

Yeah, I noticed it, too. I opted for displaying the contents of div class="row post-content".
