Mirroring tt-rss installation

Postby Rinaldus » 19 Jun 2013, 08:29

Will multiple tt-rss scripts installed on 2 different servers and both using 1 database work correctly? Will any collisions or errors appear in database with this configuration? I just want to create mirror of tt-rss installation on other server to make avaiable to access it when one of these servers is down.

if you run multiple update scripts, wouldn't that cause trouble?

You'll use more traffic, that would be about it. I forgot about update script running on a different machine once for a week, only noticed when I updated something but old data kept getting inserted.

I've mirror TT-RSS from OpenShift to local computer but the starred-images cached only work from only one location. How can I make they available in two location as backup.

I'd go read up on MySQL's replication features. Then setup a replication of your master MySQL database to the remote machine.
