Plugins > System

Postby re4med » 24 Jun 2013, 14:58

I am the ADMIN of my Tiny Tiny RSS installation. However, i notice that the items under the Plugins > System section are greyed out. How can I have access to those items?

Thanks.

Is this the block of code?

define('PLUGINS', 'auth_remote, auth_internal, note');
// Comma-separated list of plugins to load automatically for all users.
// System plugins have to be specified here. Please enable at least one
// authentication plugin here (auth_*).
// Users may enable other user plugins from Preferences/Plugins but may not
// disable plugins specified in this list.

aside from the fact that there's only one line of 'code' and a bunch of comments, what do you think? what do all those comment lines (the ones starting with //) say? do those listed plugins match the checked ones on your ttrss system plugins page?

deduction, it's a powerful force.

you might note that I'm not spoon feeding you information, I'm trying to show you how to think for yourself! you'll thank me someday.

Well, you know what they say:

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day,
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Seems to me a simple YES or NO would have been sufficient for my question.

when someone postes something that says:

"Comma-separated list of plugins to load automatically for all users. System plugins have to be specified here"

and then asks, with a straight face (I'm assuming) "is this where the system plugins go?"

they *deserve* a bit of gentle ridicule, and, while you're new here, I can *promise* you that this is the forum that you'll get it in.

aside from the fact if you'd searched the forum before posting, you'd have found your answer.

generally, a question such as yours warrants a response on the order of "hello, I can't read or search and..."

now, unless you've got something *interesting* in the way of a problem, I'll be moving on.
