Say I'm subscribed to a movie website but I only want to read articles about certain directors. What's the best practice in creating a filter for this? Is it better to add a line to the filter for every person I want to read about, or would you add one line with a lot of names, like (Steven Spielberg|Oliver Stone|James Cameron|etc)?
So far, I've used only the first method, but I'm just wondering if there are (dis)advantages to any of both methods.
Best practice for filtering on multiple terms?

I'd asked a similar question in the past and was told it didn't matter. don't take that as gospel though, since it was a more general question about tuning filters.

I don't think it really matters.. I've got 500+ filters currently going against a category, and it seems to chunk through it just fine.

Is there a character limit for each line of the filter? Or did I dream that?
