modify (via regexp?) article headline?

Postby macfly » 16 Aug 2014, 22:01

Hi,

i want to tidy up the article headlines of some feeds (remove garbish, reorder author/title/date, and so on). I assume there is no plugin where i can throw some regexp's into doing all the magic for me?

regards,
macfly.

just to let the audience know, i found a solution.

Installed ff_FeedCleaner (https://github.com/wltb/ff_feedcleaner), and used the following:

{
"URL": "domain-selection",
"type": "regex",
"pattern": "#(<title>)(.*)(\\[.*\\])(</title>)#",
"replacement": "$1$3 - $2$4"
}

this moves all [HD] or [FullHD] or something like this from the end of the title to the beginning.

greetings,
macfly.
