It seems this bug has been fixed in the latest release, there seems, however, to be another bug: when swiping to the next article and when the client needs to reload the next set of articles I see blank articles. With this new fix I can then continue swiping to the next article but this blank article cannot be read unless I go back to headline mode and refresh the list of unread articles. The title and first line, is however, visible in the headline column on the left but, again, cannot be accessed and is "lost" unless I manually refresh unread articles.

I have a feeling this bug has been there along but not really visible until now with this latest bug fix.

yeah, i've noticed it too

as far as i remember its a placeholder that is needed because of the whole loading thing, maybe there's a way around it

the blank article is not some valid article not shown, it's a thing that is used to know when to load new stuff in phone mode

so it's a purely cosmetic issue if that helps

No, it is not a purely cosmetic issue. When you are in landscape mode with the headlines on the left and swiping articles on the right you can see that the blank messages in fact correspond to articles in the headline column. Those articles either become marked as read (although you have not been able to view them) or are are marked as unread meaning you will see them next time you refresh the article list. This discrepancy is probably due to some timing issue.

I don't have access to the beta so I have not been able to test it. However, running the last version you released I came across a new bug I have only seen once while operating the tablet in landscape mode: the headline selected on the left and the actual article did not match and the lists continued to be out of sync while swiping left or right. The only way to correct this was to back out and refresh the article list.

Ok. I don't really know how the app works and maybe i will download the code if i can to take a look but, i think you load a set of 20 or 30 articles the first time.
Then when you swip on the right, it loads one article by one article. And, after 20 or 30 articles (i will be more careful next time), all the set of articles on the left disapear, and we start at the first one of the second loaded set (at the top of the list). It's when the app is doing that that we missed 1 article (the last of the last set or the first of the second set, i don't know) ... Is it more clear ?
