Query regarding feed fetch timeout

Postby n00b123 » 18 Jul 2016, 06:34

Hi,

A small query. Where should I look if I want to increase the time ttrss takes to search for feeds before giving up?

Eg. If ttrss takes 60seconds to search for a feed and then upon getting no response, gives up, how do I change it to say, 200 seconds?

Thanks.

If by "search for feeds" you mean when TT-RSS fetches a remote feed to update articles, then those are set on lines 43-54 of include/functions.php.

You can override the defaults by declaring the appropriate constants in your config.php file.

Please keep in mind that a timeout value of 200 seconds is pretty high; if a web site hasn't responded within 30 seconds it's probably not going to.
