SSL Issue: 60 SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

Postby jimbow143 » 02 Aug 2016, 19:33

I'm attempting to subscribe to a blog however recieving this error:

Couldn't download the specified URL: 60 SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

[*] This is not a self signed cert and even Chrome identifies this is a trusted CA

Is there a way to import this cert to TT RSS or other suggestions?

Thanks!

one suggestion would be reading the rules before posting threads in support

while you're on probation i suggest figuring out how to fix ssl certificate store on your server, a task which unsurprisingly has nothing to do with tt-rss

Update the ssl library. I had same problem in Debian. It was caused by site having multiple certificates and SHA1 signed one not being trusted anymore. Las ssl update fixed the issue (Debian 8.5 stable upgrade) - "use alternate trust chains" fix.

Thanks @virgo. Yeah easy fix...thought the original issue was a configuration in TT-RSS. Sorry @fox
